Currently we do not have an Hermes authenticator, you'll need to use a paid service.

All authenticators are volunteers and may choose to answer posts or not as they individually see fit. For guidelines on what/how to post look at the beginning of this thread.

If you find your post ignored it may be for any reason

'bumping', 'begging' or have a hissy fit will not help
'Barking' when others try to help you will not help
Playing the 'unfair' card will not help.

If reg. members see a post that does not qualify for help you are of course free to prompt the poster (or ignore) but do not get drawn into an argument.

If you find posters rude or breaking tPF rules please report.

My aunt has just given me a Hermes bag, im worried it may actually be a genuine hermes bag worth alot of money, she gave it to me to put in a craft market stall. I want to check if its real and give it back to her if its a real bag. i have attached some photos, can anyone please give me an estimate of its worth and if its real. i might add this is a genuine email and my aunt has just been thru chemo therapy and is from a wealthy family so i beieve it may be real (they travel first class alot) it will be at least 10 years old as i found receipts in it its been in storage locker for a while they are clearing out the storage locker. im not about to sell it if its a real bag ill give it back to her and advise what its worth. she was only trying to help me out because i lost my job before christmas.20200116_203615.jpg 20200116_203706 (2).jpg 20200116_203727.jpg 20200116_203811.jpg 20200116_203926.jpg 20200116_204009.jpg

Hi silvernz2000, please read the first post, this is not a live auction. You can contact A paid authentication service though, bababebi is a trusted Authenticator and she responds quickly. :flowers:

sorry im confused im not auctioning the bag I just wanted to know if its genuine. its not on a live auction page and i thought this website had people who can take a look and tell if its a genuine bag or not. i did read the first page but i obviously got the wrong idea that someone could possibly help me.

My Comments: There aren't many photos available and no photo of the date imprint (have requested these from TRR already). Should that be a red flag? However, they say this is available in the Madison NYC boutique so that makes me think it might be real, otherwise why would they display it? I'm also interested to know if this is a reasonable price and if anyone can guess the age?

This company does not show photos to permit independent authentication.
