Currently we do not have an Hermes authenticator, you'll need to use a paid service.
Please do not ask in off topic threads for opinions or start new threads. Thanks!

Please note there is no chatting allowed on this thread.

All authenticators are volunteers and may choose to answer posts or not as they individually see fit. For guidelines on what/how to post look at the beginning of this thread.

If you find your post ignored it may be for any reason

'bumping', 'begging' or have a hissy fit will not help
'Barking' when others try to help you will not help
Playing the 'unfair' card will not help.

If reg. members see a post that does not qualify for help you are of course free to prompt the poster (or ignore) but do not get drawn into an argument.

If you find posters rude or breaking tPF rules please report.

Item: Kelly 32 Black Box Calf

Seller: Brand Off

Comments if any: the Kelly seems in pretty good condition but seems relatively reasonable price.. so I took a closer look and found the stamp suspicious. Very curious. It will be great if any of authenticators could help to shed some light on it.

I am not an authenticator, but if you review the first post in this thread, you will understand the posting rules. You can always go to a private authenticator - Bababebi is very highly recommended.

There are too many requests for authentication that do not follow the guidelines/rules appearing again.
How many times do we think, 'Oh no, not another one. Can't they read!' AND 'How can we help?'
Might I suggest that authenticators should be able to use an immediate response available like this one from Luvbolide signed by as many contributors as wish. Any subsequent argument should be deleted.
Additionally it could possibly point to the usual reasons like: this service is for regular contributors to this forum; you already own the bag; the bag is not currently for sale on an internet site (other than Instagram).
I'm sure a lot of us would wish to put our name to it, as a display of support from the general forum readers and contributors to the authenticators and displeasure that their generosity in giving an opinion is being abused.

Thanks for your offer, but we don't want to involve other members in signing their names to some kind of mass response. It's great when others remind posters of the rules, but in most cases, Bababebi and I have stopped doing so. It makes absolutely no difference, as you can see by the post immediately following yours. We are tired of being attacked for asking people to follow the rules, being told we are rude when we do respond, or that we should make an exception just this once, that they absolutely need this authentication and presumably can't afford or don't want to pay for this service. Some of the PMs we get about the authentication rules would make your head spin. They are nasty and entitled, demanding that we authenticate in many cases, and are the main reason a lot of prior authenticators no longer participate.

The request to read the first post is in the title of the thread. If people choose to ignore it and the details of which posts will and will not receive a reply, their requests will also be ignored. Please PM me if you wish to discuss this further. Thanks.
