*CLOSED* Authenticate This Delvaux

The name is spelled wrong - Brilliant s/b Brillant. It does not look real to me. It does seem to have all the accessories.

How funny - I’ve been considering my next bag purchase and doing some research, this bag and a couple of Moynat’s being on the short list. In my head have been “reading” the name as Brilliant, which I thought was a little cheeky of them…!

After consideration instead of Delvaux I just bought a Moynat which to me has unbelievable leather and craftsmanship with easy to handle gold plated or palladium hardware. There is a thread in the forum. Enjoy your research.

No detail pictures on the site but the leather, proportion & the engraving looks okay from the pictures they have. Looks authentic in my opinion but I notice some stains on the leather. I'm not sure it will come off. I believe bags are final sale at realreal.

I did a stupid thing — Purchased this Delvaux, and later learned that The RealReal isn’t exactly known for its rigorous authentication process…
Could anyone please share their thoughts on this bag’s authenticity? What bothers me the most is the area circled in yellow.






These are pictures from the RealReal, and I will post more once the bag arrives… (smh). It won’t come with any certificate or invoice, I think. If it turns out to be a fake or uncertain, I will need to wrangle the RealReal into giving me a refund! What a hassel…
