1st bag: would like to see clear pics of the CHANEL stamp and MADE IN stamp, but I'm pretty certain it's authentic.

2nd bag: authentic.

I'm hoping you can help me authenticate a bag I bought recently but have not yet received. On a closer look at one of the photos, I'm concerned that it could be a really good fake.

- Comments: My concern is that the grommets at the top of the bag are not symmetrically placed (see photo 1). I know that the craftsmanship on Chanel bags is excellent and that the bags are always perfectly symmetrical. Have you ever seen a genuine Chanel bag where the grommets are not 100% perfectly placed as with this bag?

I will be able to send more photos as per the posting rules once I receive the bag - although, depending on your initial thoughts, I may try to cancel the order.

Hi! I would be grateful if you could help me authenticate my mum Chanel bag.

Item: Chanel lambskin double flap bag
Serial number: I can't find this inside the bag

My mum bought this Chanel bag in the 1990s, and she gave it to me recently. When I was searching for Chanel bags online, I read some posts saying that Chanel never uses Phillips head screws in metal item. So, I want to know is this bag fake? My mum insists that this bag was bought at around US$3800, I am so confusing...
