If ever in a rush you can click on the search button in the top right corner, type in the serial # and then click on "search this thread only." When doing so, it's an easy way to check if the serial is a common counterfeit serial #, which in this case it is a common counterfeited number. Sorry!

i haven't seen your other post yet but if that's the serial it's 99.9999% certain it's a fake

As for the serial number, I'm having trouble getting a good picture without flash, what should I do? It's located in the bottom of the bag.

I have recently bought a handbag on eBay without a receipt as it was my dream handbag. Would love to know if it's 100% genuine before the time is up to start a dispute which is pretty soon, if it turns out not to be genuine. Also, could anyone recommend me the best paid service I can use online to authenticate my handbag and have a certificate of authenticity through email or post? Thank you :smile:

I should note that the bag doesn't stand straight like my other black classic flap, it seems to lean forwards, and the inside popper is impossible to close as the cardboard is very floppy as opposed to my other Chanel classic flap which is much more solid.

Hi Ladies!

I wanted to get your opinion of authenticity on a bag I recently purchased. It seemed very real to me at first, but as I examine it closer, I can't tell if its inconsistencies are due to age/uniqueness, or it's a dupe. Below is the information I have, and photos that I took:

Item: Chanel camera bag (I think?)
Serial Number: none

Who took the pictures: myself below, seller on the link
History of the bag: unknown
Comments: bag does not have a tassel like most camera bags, but has this weird medallion type charm instead. the number of stitches per square side also was usually 8-9, didn't know if that's an authenticity flaw or because of the smaller bag size. The lambskin leather feels very supple and the hardware feels sturdy and very barely magnetic, I just don't know what to think!

When adding information make sure to quote your initial post, ensuring all necessary pics carry forward when adding additional information.
