Dear Experts, hoping I have the correct format for this request - thank you for your guidance as to whether this necklace is authentic (and whether you believe there have been any modifications / repairs, if this is possible to gauge). The pearls in the interlocking "C"s are different sizes, which is a bit odd but may have been part of the design. I unfortunately could not find a photo of the original necklace on which to base comparisons!

I believe this necklace is from Chanel's 100th anniversary collection of costume jewelry, possibly produced in 2013.

I'd like to see sharper, more up close, and no glare pictures of the sticker, and both sides of the zipper pull to confirm authenticity, but so far looks good. No red flags seen.

Can I have a clearer picture of the sticker, like so:

Also a non-angled/forward facing picture of the stamp. And if you can manage, a clear picture of the underside of the zipper head.


As for the sideways link in the leather strap, you can just twist it back in place. It's pretty common, I have that on some of my bags, too.

I was not able to get a clear underside of the zipperhead (I'm assuming you mean the part of the zipper facing in the zipped compartment. I attached a blurry photo, however, I was able to see a "CC" logo on the underside myself when I put a mirror inside the zipped compartment to see the underside. If this is not what you meant, please let me know. Thanks.

Thank you for the leather chain clarification. I also noticed the bag polishing fabric of this bag is firmer/thicker than my new boutique one (again unsure if this is a valid difference or if it is even helpful in authenticating). Thank you!

Comments: I received this item today and things looked good initially. I then compared it to my boutique-bought Chanel handbags (2015, 2019, 2020) and found some differences. The box and authenticity fonts seemed different to my originals (to me at least), serial sticker edges are very worn despite bag being used twice, and the text/stitching in the care booklet were completely different from my booklets. I don't know if this is normal or not. I am in need of expert eyes and am seeking other authentications as well. Please let me know if the photos are insufficient. Thank you in advance!
