Not a lot better to be honest. I can't enlarge the picture when clicking on it. Though I can't see all the fine detailing of the sticker (which I prefer with higher series), I'm not foreseeing any issues.

Authentic. It's looks like 12A, yes. If it's a brighter red (sometimes hard to tell due to lighting), it's 12A. 12P also had red Reissues, but it's a darker red.

Here are additional photos of the hardware and sticker. It’s very difficult to get a clear close up of the serial sticker but I am interested to know what series the vintage bag is from. I also had another question, is it normal to have a small break in the chain where the woven leather strap meets? I’ve included a photo. Thank you!

Hi! My bag is a vintage Chanel flap bag. The leather appears to be folded in itself and stitched near the ends. If I’m not mistaken I believe bags made before 2008 have no stitching on the leather strap and the more modern bags feature a precise and neat stitch on one side of the strap, I see no sign of glue anywhere.
