Thank you so much.
As a bag collector for over 15 years, seller for over 10 and proud tpf'er for over 12 years I was so sad and appalled by these accusations as I have always done my utmost to ensure the authenticity of the bags I bought and sold and tried to make sure my buyers had a good buying experience.

That being said this is definitely a sobering experience and even though I am the first one to admit we can all make mistakes in regards to superfakes and scammers, I still think this one checks out.

However I will absolutely 100% have it authenticated right away and after I will perhaps relist. I will definitely not be selling anything before it has had its authenticity thourougly documented.

No worries, for what it’s worth (it prob doesn’t mean much) I searched your serial number on this thread and it didn’t come up as a known fake. I spend too much time on the AT Chanel thread! Good luck

Hahaha I know the feeling, use to sleep here but have been taking a long break only to come back to this mess.

I will have it authenticated by the highest authority - Chanel repair service - and after maybe I will sell if I dare to list again.

Again thank you so much for chiming in.

Hello Radissen,

Since I was interested in buying your bag and to me the bag does not look right. You mentioned that you are going to take your bag to the Chanel boutique for getting the turning lock repaired. I would love to join you. Just let me know when, then we can meet up there at the shop.

Dear Moonriver09

I find it highly peculiar that you chose to send me this generous offer of accompanying me to Chanel in this thread instead of just sending me a text - I know you got my phonenumber bc you used it Wednesday and again yesterday. But as this apparently is your preferred communication media I will reply you here in the hope of closing this matter once and for all (and let this thread at Purseforum do what it's supposed to do namely authenticate bags for members not deal with personal accusations).

1. As I always say to anyone who wants to buy from me, you have to go with your gut feeling - if the bag looks or feels wrong to you then it doesn't matter how much documentation I will provide - you will never truly feel at ease with the bag and really love it bc the doubt will always be nagging you. So when you state "the bag does not look right" then I will definitely say it's not the right bag for you and that you should you save your money for when the perfect bag shows up.

2. Taking a bag to Chanel repair means having it sent to Paris, it will probably take 6-8 weeks before it comes back hence why it is futile that you're accompanying me to Chanel.

3. And most important: Do you really think I am interested in selling to you after this? I spent all Wednesday afternoon answering all your questions, sending you lots of pictures while I'm driving through Sweden only to get radio silence from you. Then last night I see your very severe accusations here. I ask you on text if you will please remove your post as your baseless accusations is smearing my reputation and you respond by treathening to report me to Trendsales.dk. So excuse me if I'm being blunt right now but no amount of money in the world could convince me to sell to you.

I do hope you will have a very nice Sunday afternoon and that you will soon find the perfect black caviar bag that you're looking for.

Now let's get this thread back on topic.

Hello Radissen,

I said I WAS interested in buying your bag. I no longere wanted to buy it after looking closer at the pictures you sent to me plus your explainations where you bought your bag etc, which, to me, they are not truthworthy.

Since you are professional seller who selling lots of designer bags on Trendsales. I feel that it is not only a matter of between you and me.(I will gladly to help others). And Fleure 1, who posted her request for authentication of this bag could be interested in knowing what happening. And probably also your other potential buyers. That is the reason I want to do it publically.

You said you wanted to take your bag to the Chanel butique to get your bag repaired and at the same time get it authenticated. I think it is a good idea. As I understand they will not repair your bag, if it is a counterfeit. We will get an answer from Chanel on your bag authenticity right away.

You said you have been collecting and selling bags for 15 years, and you claimed that you have helped many others authenticated their bags and helped them to get their money back. That implies that you have pround knowledge on bags, including Chanel. You immediately deleted your sales of this bag, after I responded to Fleur. I am not selling Chanel bags, and either an expert on Chanel. You should have believed on your own expertise. Somehow I found your act misterious.

But anyway, let’s go to Chanel together and get it confirmed that your bag is authentic. So you will also get a chance to clear any doubts from others that you are selling fakes and by that your reputation will remain. I would not see any problems why we could not go there together. If your bag is authentic, I myself will post it here to keep other updated.

Have a nice Sunday too.

If I may, ill try and save the girls time: if its urs you need to post a log-in shot, if its not yours, you need a valid link. I am NOT AT ALL an authenticator but Im not sure about this one.

Unfortunately, as gorgeous as this bag is it is a super fake. I did a little research and found out that in the history of Chanel's serial stickers they have never had words on both ends of the stickers as mine does in the last picture. It has Chanel on both ends. A little bummed but thankfully I did not spend too much on it. [emoji38]

@Radissen I wouldn’t let the prior posts get to you. You did the right thing by taking the listing down until you’re 100% sure the bag is authentic. I personally wouldn’t take it to the Chanel store as you would have to wait for it to come back from Paris and that could take awhile. You’ll also be out of money for the repair you’re requesting. It’s ridiculous that someone that doesn’t even want to buy the bag wants to go to the Chanel store with you. I would ask ironic to authenticate and also pay for a paid service so you can include the certificate with the sale.

Radissen asked her potential buyers to get the bag authenticated here. So why did she not take her listing down BEFORE my post? She did not mentioned either about the turning lock that I observed that it is not straight, which she later on said that she will get it repaired and at the same time gets the bag authenticated.

I would not bother that much and would not use my time to go together with her to the Chanel shop, if she was individual seller. To you it is ridiculous but to me it is morality: if I know somebody is trying to cheat systematically, I will try my best to stop. It is also for my own sake, who loves pre-own stuff and Denmark is very small and who knows I wil probably one day pumpe in a bag from the same source of supply.

Radissen said she very much wanted to get her bag authenticated so she can sell it, if the bag is real, otherwise she will contact the previous owner to get her money back. She suddenly remembered who it was, whereas she said she forgot when I was asking her.

I thought Chanel would refuse to take a bag for repair, if the bag was not a real one. That why I suggested to go there together so she could save money from getting her bag authenticated from other sources.

Hi there, I was given a chanel bag as a gift some time ago and I am 99.9% certain it's genuine but thought I'd message you guys for authenticity.
Item Name: Chanel Classic
Link: None I own it
Seller: Gifted
Who Took the Pictures: I did
History of the Bag: none available
Comments: everything seems authentic but the serial number sticker has 'Chanel' printed down both sides which is where my doubt is. Thanks in advance

@moonriver09 This is not a thread for detective work. I suggest you look elsewhere for the bag that you are after or go to the boutique. It’s meant to be for authentication. Here at tpf we are very careful about calling bags fake unless there is definite proof from an expert here or paid authenticator. Cc turn locks are forever crooked even in bags from the boutique. It is not a sign the bag is not real. It is very important to not fill this thread with by the by stuff. This is so that when @ironic568 comes back she is able to help people easily. I wish you luck with your search.

Hi Experts and Authenticators,

It has been a long time since I've used the site as I haven't been in the bag buying market financially for some time now, so I re-read the format and please let me know if I'm missing anything (unintentional, I promise).

- Item name: Chanel Beige Jumbo
- Serial number: (please type out) 6381306 (I think? They didn't post it in the listing, but that's on the internal hologram sticker)
- Listing number: (eBay listing #, site listing #, or if applicable) It's on Poshmark, which I am new to, so not entirely sure if there is one as it isn't an auction format.
- Seller: (seller ID)
sellingforacaus
- Link: (link to the sellers listing in eBay or other selling site. Either active, or expired) https://poshmark.com/listing/Auth-C...Lambskin-Double-Flap-5b2638c2aa571937b635216b
- Comments: Apologies if anything isn't done correctly as I'm new to Poshmark and haven't used the authenticate this chanel thread in quite some time, and thanks in advance either way!!

Wow I don't even know what to say anymore!

This will absolutely be my last response in this case as I honestly do believe we are wasting everyone's time with this nonsense.
But let me clear some things up:

1. I am by no means a professional seller, I am merely a normal hardworking mother who like to indulge in luxury designer bags when the income allows me. The income or should I say lack of sufficient funds is the only reason I resell bags in order to buy new ones.

2. In regards to my so-called expertise - I am by no means an expert - very few people deserve that title and I am certainly not one of them. I have great experience in buying, owning and selling seconshand bags but scammers get better all the time.
I know certain bags very well but we can all be mistaken and I am certainly not one to risk selling a potentially fake bag - I would rather close my add and wait for proof of authenticity than selling and living with the risk (and doubt) of having made a wrong decision. Nothing mysterious in that as I do believe this is something every person with moral and conscience would do. No one, besides you, have questioned the authenticity of this bag, but even so I still closed the add - I do think that speaks volumes about my trustworthiness.

3. As I have tried to tell you numerous times the staff in the Chanel boutique will not evaluate the bag's authenticity in the boutique, they simply do not have the expertise or authority to do that. What they will do is to send it to Paris - here they evaluate and then repair it. Obviously they will not repair a fake bag but they will only be able to make that judgement once they have it in their hands in Paris - hence why I said it is futile that you're accompanying me to the boutique.

4. I have no problem with doing this publicly - I have nothing to hide. But I do not think this is the place to do it, as others also have tried to explain to you this is a thread for having bags authenticated not a thread for investegatory or speculative ideas. Furthermore as I have closed the add there is nothing for anyone to buy hence no potential buyers so I don't know who would be interested in an update.

5. Lastly and MOST IMPORTANT however is the fact that I do not need to have my name cleared in anyway or the need to redeem myself simply bc I have done nothing wrong. This bag's authenticity has not been doubted by anyone other than you and you clearly will not be buying from me. No one has ever doubted the authenticity of the bags I am selling and I usually always make sure my buyers have "my bags" authenticated either before or after they buy from me. This was also the case with this bag.
Likewise has no one ever doubted my motives or trustworthiness before you, so I don't know what you're really referring to when you're saying "So you will also get a chance to clear any doubts from others that you are selling fakes and by that your reputation will remain".

I believe you're wasting everyone's time especially your own, why not use your time to find the perfect bag for yourself instead.
I think it has been stated numerous times before but in case there is any doubt let me sum it up for you: The add is closed, nothing will be sold hence no potential buyers, I will take the bag to Chanel to get it repaired and IF I chose to relist it will be with documentation from Chanel Paris.
END OF STORY!

Now good night to everyone and sorry for wasting everyone's time once again.
