I checked it again after i read your post, and no there really isn't any MIC tag. Thanks for your concern ;) atleast i know what to look for next time. This is my first Alexander Wang bag purchase and didn't know how to authenticate .

For the next time, if you hold the bag so that you're looking at the inside zip pocket with the leather logo'd patch on it, the made in China tag will be sewn into the left seam approx. three-quarters of the way down. (Small note-I purchased a salesman's sample once where the tag had been cut out, but you could still see where it had been attached. A flashlight can be handy!).
