The number behind the MIC tag doesn't appear on all tags. This is probably a bag from a different season. You could return it and buy one from Barneys. But this bag is authentic.
Thank you for the information Skittle. I appreciate it. Ended up going to the Alexander Wang store today and they were kind enough to check it out for me. Thankfully it is indeed an authentic bag and I was just being paranoid!

While I don't have the expertise to comment on your bag,I noticed that many of the photos posted on ebay for this item are not of the bag being sold but are from various other websites. Doesn't necessarily reflect on the authenticity of the bag in question but it's something to watch out for.
Hi, the interior badge looks ok, but other than that I cannot be sure that this is authentic.. Usually sample bags have an interior sample tag that replaces the MIC tag.
I am also not familiar with this bag.
Skittle, is it worth her looking to see if the tag was cut out? My salesman's sample Rocco looked like it had the tag cut out of it, probably because it says not for resale?
Thank you for your help ladies, I couldn't find a similar bag style to this anywhere so I wondered if it was authentic or not. Seller said the bag didn't go into production, that's why there aren't anymore of them to be found anywhere. I really love the look of the bag, but don't want to be duped if it isn't authentic. Not sure if I should take a chance on it or not. I'll ask the seller if she sees a tag that says not for resale or if it looks like a tag has been cut out.
That was my guess, too (that it hadn't made it to production). I saw before bags that never made it to production, but they were variations of known models.
I personally doubt that anybody would go through the trouble of inventing a totally new bag and sell it as the real deal; they usually try to replicate a known popular bag.
Nevertheless I just wanted to mention that I am not familiar with this bag, and thus I couldn't say that I am sure of its authenticity. If the seller finds the sample tag (or remains of it) inside, it would probably put our minds at ease.

With that said, I just received a Coco/Rocco from a seller on ebay and it's got some strange anomalies. I've owned close to 100 Alexander Wang handbags and wallets including several Roccos and i've never seen this before. I figured before I opened a claim though, I'd pose it to the experts to get their opinion. Thanks in advance, I greatly appreciate the amazing service you provide.

The pockets on the side are actually two small side pockets and not the normal bigger/smaller overlapping ones. Also the smell is just off as is the weight and the movement of the main zipper.
