Hi everyone
I just bought this second hand rose gold/ black emile bag off ebay, I've compared to my other emile that I have in the original style and from the outside it looks 100% legit. But could someone please double check? The seller lost the shoulder strap, and the MIC tag looks slightly different (the MIC writting is not as white? and there's a separate number tag ).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I won an auction on a brand new black rockie bag. Can someone help me authenticate? I realize I should've done this before actually winning, but I submitted an offer and it automatically ended (I didn't realize that could happen, lol)

Anyway, the seller is fashionofchrist.

The bag is brand new apparently purchased from Barneys. The seller did not post any pictures of the inside, so I have asked for them to do so before I make payment. Here are the pictures they posted. Any help would be great, I don't own any AW bags so I'm not sure what to even look for!

Thanks for your response! As it turns out, the seller could not provide a photo of the MIC tag. She said that she bought it from a third party and didn't realize the bag could be fake. It looked so real to me that I was almost ready to make payment on the bag, but I'm glad I waited.

MIC tags are hard to find, if you don't know where to look. Please ask the seller to come to this forum for instructions on how to find the tag. It would be a shame if you convinced her that the bag is fake, only because she was not able to find the tag.

I'm sorry about that. Some sellers can be very difficult. I thought from your post that she just couldn't find the tag.

The photos in the auction did not throw up any red flags for me, however; seller could have been using photos found on the internet.. Red flags begin to fly when a seller cannot or is unwilling to provide additional photos.
