I got a crazy good deal on this beautiful quilted luggage Rocco. I'm 99.9% sure it's authentic. The leather is super soft like the Donnas, the HW looks great and the MIC looks good. I just like to make sure.

Hi - it looks ok - exactly like mine -- but as BoxerMom said you need a mic tag photo and a good close up of the lining seam - I have been tricked into buying a fake Chanel from Australia so I am quite suspicious of their eBay - perhaps of their proximity to the source of fakes - does the seller still has an AW original tag with the cord?

The tag looks odd to me too. The bag itself looks good, so it could be the camera angle. I tried rotating the photo around and that did not help. I would ask this seller for another photo of the MIC tag, a photo of the engraved hardware, and a photo of the interior.

Everything on this bag looks good, with the exception of the studs..
The rivets are wide/thick compared to all the cupcake studs I've seen. I've seen AW sample bags before and every detail matched up. It doesn't help the engraved strap is missing. Look at the close up photo of authentic cupcake studs. On the luggage rocco, the studs are an antique brass and the engraved ridges expose silver. I would describe the studs as brass in one light and silver in another.
Your studs are silver and black.
My gut thinks it's authentic sample bag, but I'm not 100% certain. The seller should have disclosed this was a sample bag, you may run into problems if you decide to resell.

thanks for your fast reply. I have contacted the seller and she said that she cannot find a made in china tag anywhere in the bag (????). Said she purchased the bag from the Outnet and sent a copy of her record of purchase. I really love the bag, but don't want to buy a fake. It's not just about the money but also about not supporting that industry. I have looked everywhere for a AW Daria at a reputable online store with no success. eBay may be my only option. The location of the bag is in the UK. Thanks!
