I'm not sure if this is posted in the right section, but its questioning authencity. I recently bought an alexander wang rocco espresso off a buyer on bonanza. There was another ended listing for the exact same bag and she said one was her mothers and the other was hers. She was selling hers to fund another purchase and her mother thought the bag was too heavy. That was understandable and I closed the deal on the 13th.
Today I was searching ebay to compare market prices and I found the same seller, selling the same bag. With another already sold! A few of the photos were the ones she had sent me when I requested more photos of the bag after questioning her regarding the multiple listings.
She has good feedback and has had quite an amount of transactions. However, I don't know if I can trust the bag is authentic and am afraid I might not receive.
Any advice?

I know exactly what you are saying. I saw the multiple listings too.
Have you received the bag? Wait for the bag to arrive, then post photos here and I'll double check the bag for you.
Don't worry....if it is fake, you can get your money back. ;)

Thanks for the reply. The seller said I'd probably receive it by weds earliest. As far as the usps tracking, its said the item is in transit to the destination. With previous packages sent from RDC its been around 5 working days. So should be weds or thurs latest. Will update with my own photos of the bag when I receive it. Any specifics I should include?

I emailed BB for some help. I honestly have never seen this bag before. The zipper pulls and lining are different from the old Donna I know.

No offense to the seller, but there are a lot of sellers who sell fakes who appear to be genuine. I would make a decision based on facts.

Hopefully BB will check in and shed some light on this bag.

I managed to find a bit more info on the mystery donna... just to let you guys know. Basically the bag was the same as the old style donna, but it had different zips, and the interior tag said 'alexander wang new york' rather than just 'alexander wang'. the ebay listing said she'd bought the bag from Barneys, for $825.

The only picture I could find on Google of a Donna with the same zips, was on a girls blog posted in 2009, and it credited the image as Barneys.

I then found this: http://forums.thefashionspot.com/f56/alexander-wang-handbags-77145.html

in which one girl in 2009 spoke about the first batch of donnas having the 'alexander wang new york' tag, and being priced $825... so finally the bits of the puzzle fit together and now i'm happy it's authentic so i purchased :-) just thought i'd let you know in case one of these 1st edition donnas should crop up again

sorry just to mention there's also another girl who posted on that forum who said she bought the first batch of donna hobo from barneys at $825, and later posts a picture of it and it has the same zippers mine has. the photos if anyone wants to see are a bit further back in this thread...x

I knew the old badges had Alexander Wang New York. What had me puzzled were the zipper pulls and the lining.
The old Donna bag I know has square zip pulls with engraved Alexander Wang, and a light vicose lining.

This is the bag before the square zip pulls must have went on... the girl who first says she bought the first batch of donna for $825 uploads a photo of hers here http://forums.thefashionspot.com/f56/alexander-wang-handbags-77145-10.html from the 1st edition and it has the same zips as the one i got. they can't have run many of these off before changing to the square zippers i'm guessing! just something to look out for in the future xx

I have purchased Alexander Wang bags from local Barney's New York, Nordstrom and The Outnet.com before, and noticed that ALL THE BRAND TAG/CARDS that came with the bags are BLACK. I see many A.W. bags sold on eBay have WHITE cards. I'm not sure of their authenticity. I've purchased A.W. bags over the years since his collection debuted to the present, and none of the bags I've purchased comes with the white card. So whenever I see white tags on auction sites, I stay away from it.

Thanks for posting. I personally will not authenticate a bag I do not know. I know the square zips, and that style Donna is the most replicated.
Bag Braggart would know for certain so I leave the older bags to her.;)

The older bags did have white hang tags, but there are a lot of fakes with white hang tags. My first rocco (then coco), max fanny, & Tina have white hang tags and they were purchased from reputable retailers.
