Found this lovely jacket in an uptown cheapskate store. It's amazing and feels very high end but I don't know if it's authentic. Has anyone ever seen one like it?

Good morning! Could I please ask for your help with authenticating this Alexander McQueen large padlock bag? Everything looks fine, but its always nice to have your wonderful expertise to be certain. :) Thank you very much for your kind help, and I hope you have a lovely day!

Hi :) Can anyone help authenticate this bag?
I only own de Manta clutches (never owned a Mcqueen bag) and all three of them have the same leather tab with Alexander Mcqueen Made In Italy on the front and the serial code on the back. This bag has a different leather tag. Does this mean it's a fake? I really want to buy this bag.

Thank you xo

Hello everyone, I'm new to Alexander McQueen and just got my first pair of Alexander McQueen sneakers from Farfetch but not sure about the authenticity. Could anyone please authenticate the shoes for me? Thanks in advance.

I think Farfetch is a reputable website. I think these are legit.
Just curious, I see you purchased a 7 1/2. How do the shoes run? True to size?

Hi can anyone help me authenticate this Alexander McQueen padlock backpack?
The seller I brought it off said it's 100% and that she used to work in the Alexander McQueen shop
There are too many things that worry me about it
No serial number?
The straps on the bag aren't the same as ones on farfetch or lyst
I can find the tan leather colour anywhere

She's refusing to give me a refund until I prove its fake if any one can help me asap will be a great help!

Dear Chesca,
I am quite familiar with AMQ scarves but with the bags not so much so I won't be able to provide you with solid proof, I'm sorry for that.
Some warning signs for me are:
The leather: It's not easy to tell from the photo's but the leather seems to be low quality (goat/scheep?), not quite what you would expect for a AMQ Bag.
The stitching: seems to be redone (photo 5) by a machine (they did a sloppy job...), other stitching (especially photo 3) seems so be done really sloppy aswell.
The tag: Seems ok, the N is the only thing that is a bit off (the left leg of the letter is a bit too thick but that doesn't give much away)
Metal: corroding, not really up to AMQ's standards and doesn't fit the rest of the condition of the bag.

The skull looks good, if you could provide a close-up I can compare it to some AMQ jewelery.

I understand your concerns, lots of warning sings and the "used to work in the Alexander McQueen shop" doesn't sound right to me aswell.

My guess is that the seller attached an original AMQ skull and tag to a bag that was not made by AMQ. I do not have solid proof but that is what I'll go with.

Hope this helps, cheers.
