I'm very new to purseblog.com. I purchased an Alexander McQueen rose print backpack with the pewter skull padlock. I cannot find one match upon my Google search. Has anyone heard of or seen the backpack I described?

Hi,

I bought an Alexander McQueen colorful scarf from his butterfly collection from Selfridges many years ago. Maybe as long ago as 8 years. I paid 150 pounds for it at the time and it was a bit of an investment piece so very memorable. I never wore it though, I found it hard to style and protective over it. I've always kept it safely thought. Recently I decided to start to sell all of my old designer wear that I haven't used in years. It scarf is still in mint condition. But then as I was researching prices on ebay and noticed that all the McQueen scarves have the logo printed on. I have looked so hard to find one on my scarf, but it's not there!!

Now you can imagine how confused I feel since I bought this scarf at the designer section in Selfridges in London!! No way they sold me a fake right?! Has anybody ever experienced something like this?

What can I do about it, or were some of the scarves in this collection not branded?

Please help.. sleepless nights over here.

Thank you

Hello and welcome, you could ask in the Wardrobe forum here: Authenticate this ALEXANDER MCQUEEN SCARF *Post Your Questions Here*

Good luck.

Hello!

I purchased what I was told was an authentic McQueen scarf but after purchasing I started having my doubts. There's a lot of signs: the R of Alexander going over the U of McQueen, and the price tag and product code which do not have any results when Google-ed.

Some photos are attached.

Let me know please as I will have to report it to paypal for a refund if it turns out that i'm right. Thanks a million! :smile1:

Hello,

Can any of you knowledgable fashionistas help me out with this Alexander McQueen bag?
I am a little worried that it might be non-authentic, mainly because I don't know the brand too well, I'm just madly in love with all the styles, prints and materials.
If anyone has any suggestions as to whether it look god or not, I would be very, very thankful!
I have added photos to a photobucket link;
