Hello,

Just my two cents worth about these bags. Someone has succeeded in duplicating these bags. I've seen the real deal and the fakes, and one way to tell them apart is by looking at the bottom of the bag. You'll notice that the longer clutches do not have those clumsy looking hinges that the fake bags have....same goes for the shorter versions; look at the real ones in a store or online and compare. I think they've got the knuckle handle down pretty good...hard to tell the difference in pics. If you buy one on Ebay, INSIST on seeing the bottom, and also ask for a receipt. Be especially wary of bags from Hong Kong, etc.... not even sure what "leather" you'd be getting. And get good close up shots...I could actually see the hot glue under the crystals on one bag. Also, if you see several of the same " rare " bag popping up over and over again, that's another red flag, especially in the case of the black python bags. The last real black python bag that came from A.M had a black colored knuckle duster handle and crystal eyes, not pearls. Hope this helps, and please, if anyone has any other info or if I am incorrect about this, please let me know!

Please kindly help to auth this:

Item: Alexander McQueen Flapper Novak Bag USED

Many thanks.

Auction has already ended. Honestly, the pictures are RIDICULOUSLY blurry so although the parts I see look authentic, I'd ask the seller for clear photos if you are the buyer of this bag. That said, I didn't know the Novak was being faked.

Hey girlies,

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Alexander...=item2a12f5638e&autorefresh=true#ht_720wt_932

I am normally a Loubies girl, but I saw this pair and couldn't resist! Absolutely gorgeous.

I was happy that there this style has not been faked, but then I found this DISGUSTINGLY FAKE website where my dream shoes can be found:
http://www.alexandermcqueenstoreonline.com/Alexander-McQueen-Black-Satin-Peep-Toe-Pumps_p71.html

Would anybody be able to tell me whether the pair I bought are real or not? I am really hoping they are okay since this was the first site I came across who offered these for sale, the it doesn't seem the seller is a bulk-seller.

Thanks a bunch!

The dustbag and the Box in both auctions are both fake, so more than likely, the clutches are as well. Hope this helps.
