Clic clac Hermes bracelets. Are they worth it?

I wear my narrow black and gold clic pretty much every day. It's great for stacking or just wearing on it's own. Aside from some scratches on the H, it still looks brand new after three years. While I don't see myself buying more (except perhaps one in another in a colour?) I absolutely love mine!

Honestly, I'm a H fan and own several clic clacs. However, I don't think they are worth their retail price. I bought mine years ago, and I still felt they were really overpriced.

With that being said, they are very good quality. Mine do not show any wear except for some scratches on the hardware (which is normal for any jewelery anyways). There has been no chipping, loosening of the hinges/closures, discoloration of enamel, etc. They are also the most comfortable bangles I own because of their oval shape, and the way they fit perfectly.

If you're interested in purchasing 1, I'd suggest going preowned and saving a few bucks that way. It's nice to have at least 1, and they do look good stacked with other types of bracelets. Retail price is just outrageous though.

I passed on buying the citron yellow colored one a couple of years ago, but was given a chocolate or mocha clic clac and I can't wait to wear it with brown boots. Otherwise I would have been interested in the lagoon, white or classic orange but I don't think I would go for one any time soon bc I have a lengthy fine jewelry list. I think it's a great option for someone who wants a designer bangle without the price tag of Cartier or Tiffany gold/platinum

Hi suzie! How did you know they were real? Is it easy to tell? I would hate to pay money and end up with a fake bracelet

I already had a brand new one, so I just compared them. I did get a fake once but returned it for a refund, you could really tell the difference. Also, I only buy from reputable sellers or sellers with really good close up photos so I can check against mine.

Ahhh makes sense. Unfortunately I don't have one already to compare it to. If you wouldn't mind, is there anyway you can pm with a couple of the sellers you recommend or think might be legit? Thanks!!

I just bought two Clic Clacs about two weeks ago. (I need to do a reveal). I probably won't buy many over my life time, but I thought a couple would be a nice addition. It is a fun way to add a luxe pop of color to match an outfit, and they are really, really, comfortable.

It is the same as Chanel jewelry. Expensive for costume but it is the name you are buying and as costume jewelry goes, it is pretty well done quality wise, so that is something.

I think, personally, buying a couple of pieces here and there is a fun add. I love my two Chanel glass bead necklaces, and now my two Clic Clacs. I get a lot of compliments and I chose colors wisely so I get a lot of use/mileage out of them. So it (somewhat) justifies the cost.

I tried buying one recently from a reputable seller but I compared it to a Clic Clac a friend had and it was off. Turns out they were duped by a really, really, good fake. So I suggest at least getting one from a boutique first, so you have a comparison.

Here is my new wide Clic Clac. Though the picture looks more blue, it is really more on the gray side.

I have a gold/black clic. I love it! I love adding it to a simple tee jeans outfit and i feel dressed up! As far as costume jewellery goes, they are such good quality. Very well made and substantial. The gold plating is also good quality. I dont buy many items of jewellery, I'm all about 'buy few and make 'em count!' So i prefer a few quality pieces, with cost not being an issue, rather than many cheaper but non classic pieces.

I haven't bought any for a good while but if you save the search on ebay and when they come up and you see sellers that only deal in high end items and have excellent feed back then you should be okay. Remember if the deal is too good to be true it often is.

They also sell them occasionally on sites like Annsfabulousfinds and Yoogis closet.
