Cles key pouch vs key holder

I have both. In all prints.

I use the cles for grift cards. I can never find gift cards so I shove any gift card yhat I receive in the cles alphabetically.

When I had a car that had a key, I would use the cles to hold the key. I would zip the. Key inside the cles when not in use.

I love the cles for sporting events and concerts as well. You can clip it to your belt loop and put the cles in your jeans pocket. Great to hold an id, A card and some cash.

I use the 6 ring key to hold my house key and fab for keyless car. My car is push button so I never take it out of my bag. I always keep folded cash inside for emergencies in the flap under the keys. It will hold an Id and debit card too!

I also have both and use both in conjunction with each other. The key holder I have 6 keys in it and before buying the key pouch I would put my Drivers license and card in the back sleeve when using smaller bags. The key pouch I put my car key in it and use it as a small wallet now.

Thank you! That helps!

Definitely the Cles. I have the Cles (that I was using for a wallet) and thought I wanted a 6 key holder for my keys. Turns out, the 6 key holder really doesn't hold much. I have my car key fob, my husband's car key fob, gate key fob to our community, and house key (also a few store key tags). The 6 key holder couldn't even accommodate 1 car key and the gate key. (I can get MY car key, gate key and house key in the Cles). My husband's car key fob didn't even nicely fit in the holder as the ONLY thing. Right now, I have everything tossed into a mini pochette, but I am looking for a better alternative. I don't understand the hype of the 6 key holder.

When I lived in the city I almost never carried my car key because it wasn’t necessary. I used my car to grocery shop, go to friends, weekend travel - not a daily thing. Lots of city dwellers use their cars sparsely - hence zero care about key fobs fitting. A 6 key holder was perfect for keys, my small gym fob, ID, T pass, CC. Lifestyle comes into play here & we’re all different.

Now I’m in the burbs & still love a 6 key. Using one now. My car key is not inside but attached & outside. I have a cles too but basically use it the same way with my car key outside the pouch. I rotate. 6 key fits better in my pocket for some reason.

Good points about different lifestyles!
Personally, I want everything inside the pouch, case, etc, so even though that is definitely a viable way to use the different pouches, that wouldn't work for me. I think I also have OCD about the possibility of things falling out, so I only put cash and credit cards into zip wallets/pouches. I almost ventured out and tried the Victorine wallet, but stayed safe with the Zippy Coin...lol

I've had two key holders, but ended up selling them b/c cles styles work for me better. I was able to get all my keys into my key holders, no problem. It stayed in my bag b/c I have a push button start car, and don't even need a house key to get in my house. But for me, it was single use item.

I liked being able to put more cards in a cles style, and I leave the single car fob on the chain outside the cles. The fob is smooth and is not going to damage anything in my bag. The cles can carry several cards, cash, and even a single thin Burts Bees lip product. Along with my phone, that's all I need to grocery shop or other small errand.

I don't have the LV key holder but I do have the Coach one (which is basically the same thing tbh) and I think the Cles is probably better bang for the buck. You can use it for more things and it's way less bulky. It's great for travel or when you want to carry a backpack but not a purse but still want to hold onto some cards.

Though if you want something specifically for keys then the key holder may be better. I don't ever use my Cles to hold keys, the flatness of it just doesn't work well if you have more than a few keys and it doesn't fit my car key very well (though my Coach key holder also doesn't hold my key fob either). It works better as a wallet or catch all for me. So I guess it comes down to what need you're trying to fulfill.

I’m confused! Those who say they have keyless car so never take the key holder out their bag, how do you unlock your car? I have keyless but still need to open the key holder to unlock and lock the car. Am I missing a trick here? :confused1:

Keyless cars should be able to detect that the fob is in range and then there is usually a little button on the door handle you can press to open (or maybe the newer cars just unlock automatically once you're in range, I'm not sure). Does your car have something like that? Several of my friends have keyless entry cars and never have to take the key out of their pocket.

Depends on your car.

I own Bmws. My x5 has keyless and convenience entry. I walked to my car and put my hand near the handle. It unlocks. I get in car press button and drive off. I never have to take the 6 ring key holder out.

My 5 series is much older (2002) and has keyless entry and a key. I use the cles for that. I unzip the cles, hit the unlock in the key and open the door. The cles hangs from my ignition.

cles is great for concerts and and sporting events. Holds cash, key and cards.

6 ring is better for my day to day with the x5. Hold the fab and my keys. Card and I always have cash in it.... which I always forget about!

I use both. Cles I generally keep gift cards in, and the 6 key holder has my keys and main credit/debit card & license. The key holder is what i grab for short errands. My key fob for my car is attached to the key holder but I don’t snap it inside ever, I just have it hanging out. It works for me :P

I only have to touch my door handle and it will unlock if my key is in my bag or pocket. I also have the garage door opener in my car, so no need to use a house key. But even on top of that, our side door is a key pad, so even if I were in someone else's car, I still don't need a house key. I love it.
