Classic White Shirt

Ugh I wish we still had J. Crew in Canada! Yes, I know they ship to Canada, but shipping fees are expensive. And then duties add up too. And if the item doesn't work, then returns aren't the easiest.

On a different note... I've been looking for a women's white button down made with Oxford cotton. Anyone have any recommendations? I had a great one from Banana Republic years ago, but they don't seem to make that style anymore. Thanks!
So I stylist on YouTube from Canada who recommends Power of My People for the Proper Fit Oxford shirt. It’s a Canadian Company and she styles it in so many ways and loves the quality.

As @MillStream mentioned, Anne Fontaine for fancy-very fancy white shirts. Her business is built around them. I have a lovely dress from them, always great quality, but I'd say on the strongly feminine aesthetic.

If I want a reasonably priced classic RTW white shirt, I go for 100% cotton or linen men's brand like Charles Tyrwhitt (lower-price) or Turnbull & Asser (higher-price). Especially a dress shirt for cufflinks. I realise that not all women can fit into men's styles easily or like the buttons to do up on the 'wrong' way round.

Vogue did a feature last year, but these things are just done for clicks and commission affiliate links. I don't think you have to go for designer. Having said that some of my favourite shirts are Gucci and Prada. I'd check out FarFetch or N-A-P, you can see what's on offer across brands with just a word search.
Thanks for the suggestion re Charles Tyrwhitt.

I have mostly Ralph Lauren, Victoria Beckham, Scanlan & Theodore shirts and was after some inexpensive ones for work to tuck in or wear when I'm home (on camera).

I ordered 3 of the Charles Tyrwhitt shirts, an Oxford in white and 2 poplin cottons in white and light blue. What good value for money!

I wouldn't purchase to wear casually as I prefer the material to be thicjer. They are long so best for tucking in. Being able to choose sleeve length and fit was great. I went 81cm sleeve length shortest without custom cost, and ultra slim fit.

Great recommendation for work! Thank you.
