Thank you, you are so very fortunate to have these experiences. In the US, I believe Huntsman primarily does bespoke suiting bc demand is so high. It’s a 10 minute walk from Turnbull & Asser (both on 57th st). Huntsman refers those in need of shirts to Turnbull, and Turnbull referred DH to Huntsman for a bespoke vest. Both Huntsman and Turnbull organize trunk shows to Texas, Chicago, and the West Coast around the same time, so a potential client could visit both at once.

The number of measurements that charvet takes for a MtM shirt is amazing, and that is what Paris recommends if one can easily fit into a standard size (with some adjustment). @cecchetti, being so slim and a former dancer, would of course need bespoke . I’m hoping to continue with RTW charvet if it continues to fit, or MtM if I decide on different fabrics.
Charvet bespoke in Paris is great fun!
I had beautiful shirts in amazing shirtings, in high count Chantilly white poplin, beautiful Swiss blue shirtings, different collars, cuffs etc..the possibilities are endless.
I don’t have any pictures, but I was living in le Palais Royal at the time, literally 5 minutes walk away, it was so convenient, I had silver knot cufflinks for the double cuff ones from there-the staff were charming.

The white shirting floor is like an Aladdins cave, there are zillions of them!

No, I didn't. I tried a few and didn't like the way they looked on me. I read somewhere that ivory is more flattering than white on most skin tones so I may give it a go again with ivory instead of stark white.

Have you tried Max Mara? I like the cut of their simple, button down shirts. I bought this one recently in blue. It is a crisp poplin (which I love), so this one may not be your ideal, but they may have something else you like.

Here's a recent NYT article about their picks for a great white shirt( and why they are great).
I've only tried the Nili Lotan- while I like her style, all her shirts run loose and large. Even a 00 swam on me ( granted, I'm small). But the quality is there - for most of her clothing.
Here you go

Hi! I feel like one of the classic looks for wearing an Hermes scarf is with a crisp white shirt, as such, I'm looking for that perfect white collared shirt to pair with my Hermes scarves. Does anyone have any favourite white shirts that they would recommend? Thanks!

There are many recommendations upthread. I like Charvet poplin (it is structured enough to be crisp and the drape is soft)

I'm going through a shirt phase. Not all of mine are white though, but some are.

I just keep it simple, let the scarf 'star'. I sometimes buy men's dress shirts for the evening (for double cuffs and holes for cufflinks). Not too blousy or fancy for day.

My favorite's from Margret Howell https://www.margarethowell.co.uk/womens/shop/shirts They are famous for shirts. I wore it under my gown at a recent ceremony with my Gucci scarf.

I'm going to get another of these https://www.theshirtcompany.com/col...na-white-tailored-v-neck-organic-cotton-shirt

Yes, The Shirt Company was Originally called “The White Shirt Haberdasher” and only made white shirts-either made to measure or bespoke, they made me a bespoke one which was beautiful in Alumo shirting, I still have their card, it’s the same company..(although they may not admit it now lol)

Is this a British company or an American company?
