With the rumors of a price increase increase arriving next month I made my way to my closest Cartier at the Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta GA nearly 4 hours away. My friend has a newer, more fuel efficient car than I do, and was kind enough to drive me. I was extremely thankful for her taking me.
My SA was Margaret and I highly recommend her. My friend and I spent an hour and a half at Cartier with her and it felt like 30 minutes because we were having such a great time!
I went in undecided between a small love with/without 6 diamonds, a love cuff, and the small Clash bracelet.
Let’s be honest; I wanted ALL of them. I chose the Clash. I was surprised at how difficult it was to decide!
It really boiled down to price. I purchased the priciest one because eventually I will buy all of them and with the rumored price increase I decided to go big or go home. In my opinion they were all gorgeous. The small love is beautiful and is a gorgeous reinterpretation of the OG Love. It felt very wearable and I could see myself living in it. The Love cuff is also a winner. I appreciate the ease of taking it on and off. I think it’s a real bargain at the price. I hope to eventually add a small Love and a Love cuff in the next couple of years.
I know people mentioned on here that the Clash rose gold isn’t like the other rose gold pieces at Cartier, but I really noticed the difference after I left and had to walk in and pick something up. Under the lighting, it really stood out against my JUC and my other bracelets. I also notice how it glows in dim lighting! That must have something to do with the angles.
I wear an 18 in my small JUC and according to their website and what I have read on here, I was assuming I would be walking away with an 18. Nope! A 17. I like my bracelets loose-ish and the 17 lines up almost perfectly with my JUC. I did try on an 18 but it felt really big. I was surprised. I wear a 19 in the small Love and also a 19 in the cuff, according to what I tried on at Cartier. I learned a lot about sizing yesterday. My right wrist measures 6.25 inches at my wrist bone but of course that’s only at the wrist bone, as I am not skinny and once you get past my wrist bone my forearm starts getting bigger. That’s why I go up a size. View attachment 5738392
View attachment 5738393As you can see the indentations that it does slide up my forearm a bit so I am happy with the movement I have because I HATE tight bracelets!
I guess it boils down to the unique shape of your wrist and forearm. We are all different and it helps to at least make a trip to Cartier at least once to try everything on. I was very surprised at my sizing results.
Love love love it!! Congratulations on getting the clash bracelet

This proves that template just doesn’t work for everyone. What a fruitful visit you’ve had (plus an awesome copilot). I will join you soon :)

I had an appointment with a new SA (met him once in store and thereafter we communicated through text). It was a confirmed appointment, by him.

When I was there, I was told by another SA he was in fact on off-day from work. I told the SA it’s a scheduled visit. And he said perhaps my SA will be coming in specially for me (I was there ten mins earlier), and he will reach out to him.

Probably 3mins later, another SA (a lady) came to me and told me she could help me. So I told her I’m here for my reserved piece and she shall retrieve it from the safe.

I trust that people may have their personal reason for ghosting, and anyway I’m there solely for my jewelry and that I am being attended to.

And so, here, she is mine :)

My DH says I may give the Panthere watch and Etincelle a try. Unfortunately we want to see the watch in YG diamond but they only have it in this. This is small. TBH, I don’t feel for it. But it may be different case if I could try a YG Diamonds.

But oh boy, the Etincelle. I’ve never really thought of it from pictures. But in IRL it really really feels luxurious and pops against my small wrist. This is either size 17 or 18 as 15 is not available so I can’t get the exact look. SA told me size 15 would be slightly bigger than my clash 14.

This SA I must say is the best I’ve experienced with (not that I am a regular in Cartier but I have popped by the stores few times to be attended by random SAs). She seems to me to be quite senior in Cartier and carries herself being totally professional (if anyone needs an SA in Singapore I would recommend her). I don’t say this because she gives me a few nice things but I believe she truly is one.

I’ve got a the standard kit, with few perfume samples, 2 (but not 1 :p) cleaning kits, and a special gift wrapped in red box. I’m not sure for now what’s in it. D98D1C77-5A08-4B07-B4C4-AC7E0D30360A.jpeg

I didn’t ask but she offers to clean my cartier jewelry and also to upgrade my love to the new screw system. She let me try out the new system on showroom piece and I think it’s great. So I’ll be Love-less for the next 2 weeks or shorter.

I now thought of this. Would the new system mean the love would be more forgiving on frequent screwing?

I wear an 18 in my small JUC and according to their website and what I have read on here, I was assuming I would be walking away with an 18. Nope! A 17. Congratulations! It looks so good! I really want to add a Clash ring (in small) to my collection…but this bracelet is gorgeous, that it might be on my wishlist now, too!

The sizing is so weird, and totally up to your own proportions and preferences. Some people will always be whatever the chart says, and then there are those of us who will have different sizes in everything. Such a long trip, but definitely worth it to try out all of the pieces, and get the right size. I wound up with a JUC Small bracelet in size 18, which really surprised me, because my Love size is 17 (don’t own it, but have tried it on a lot!), and is a perfect fit. Yet, the size 16 in the JUC was too small, and the nail head dug in, and 17 still just didn’t do it for me. So, 18 it is! It moves around perfectly and allows me to stack with other bracelets and my watch.

Enjoy your lovely new bracelet, and thanks for sharing!

I’ve got a the standard kit, with few perfume samples, 2 (but not 1 :P) cleaning kits, and a special gift wrapped in red box. I’m not sure for now what’s in it. View attachment 5738832

Yeah!!! It looks so beautiful on you!! Glad you are getting the new screw system. When I tried on the love it felt very secure. I had the old screw system when I had one years ago and it stresses me out because I was worried about losing a screw. Sounds like you had a wonderful SA experience too! Maybe she will be your new one? :)
