Does anyone know about a gemstone red garnet clash necklace? It is like the diamond clash necklace but with garnets. I saw it listed on Fashionphile and jumped on it, but I can’t find anything out about it. Was it a regional exclusive? Reds seem to be common regional exclusives in Asia/Middle East. I guess I can check the location on the certificate when it comes. It is 2022. I don’t think it is a special order because my special orders in recent years have been limited to only rubies, sapphires, emeralds or diamonds (the workshop said that I cannot do softer stones like Garnet or aquamarine, which they had allowed in the past), though I also noticed that my special orders come with a dot on the certificate so I guess that would be a sign one way or the other. Thank you for any ideas or insights!

It looks beautiful on you! I'm also interested in this necklace. I don't have a store in my area, so I have to order online. I have an average size neck, not too skinny and not too big. It's 14" inches and I do like more substantial jewelry in general. I wonder what is the gold weight on both necklaces and how much bolder and heavier medium is in comparison to small Clash necklace ?
thanks! those are great questions. I don’t know what that gold weight is for each piece but I am curios as well. from what I can remember, the medium was noticeably heavier and larger, especially compared to the chain versus the small size.

there are some ladies on this forum that have both (I can’t recall the page number) but they layer spectacularly.

Thank you so much! I am leaning towards medium size , I'm just curious if the chain in medium is durable enough for the heavier pendant? Do you know if it's more substantial or exactly the same as the one that is used in the smaller version? TIA!

Happy Saturday, everyone!

I finally ordered the clash necklace to match my ring. I opted for the size small since the large one doesn't have any chunkier chain and I love this necklace! It's much more sparkly in person than my photo shows!

However, I still have the same concerns about chain durability... The pendant is quite substantial even in the smaller version, so those of you who have this necklace, please share your experience on its wearability - do you stack it with other chains? Is it safe to wear it 24/7 and sleep in it? Did anyone have any issues with chain being broken? Thanks in advance!

I have the same necklace and worried about this very thing but my SA assured me it was secure. I’ve worn it for days at a time with no issues. My sister-in-law has worn hers 24/7 for about 2 years with no problems at all. Aesthetically, however, I feel a thicker chain without the beads would be a better design. It’s still a lovely necklace and unique—I get compliments about it frequently. I don’t stack mine but you certainly could. Enjoy!

Thank you very much for your reply! It's good to know that you and your sister-in-law had a positive experience with this necklace... I like its versatility and the fact that it can be worn alone or be layered. I also agree that if the chain would be just a little bit thicker it would make people feel more secure about it. But so far, I haven't heard any horror stories related to this piece anywhere in the social media. So, I'm going to give it a week long trial, wearing it around the clock.

Thank you once again!

I have slept in mine, showered with it, and played tennis. All fine! When I played tennis, I was lucky…I found out later that evening that the necklace wasn’t actually hooked into the loop. I somehow just put the clasp on the chain - and the Cartier symbol charm is what kept it from falling off!! I wore it like this for a week! So yes, she’s durable!

I’m so happy with the small! And, I adore the chain! Cartier used to sell a similar chain, but it was discontinued - so this allows me to have a two-in-one situation :).

Thank you! It's good to know how durable it is despite being so dainty... It looks great on you! I was wearing mine by itself all day today and it feels so comfortable, I even forgot I had it on :)
