Hahha I think its pushing it lightly upward. Notice how you can wiggle the studs except the part where the lock is - when you get to that part push it slightly upward with your nail or finger. Now if you do that and the top hinge open even slightly then you have the same issue as mine and that's the 1st thing I noticed which I just ignored and over time it got worse where the hinge open on its on but the lock part still securely attached. I can imagine as time goes by mine will end up like that lady from you tube.
Ah I see. I guess mine will open regardless as I’m pushing it. I used to open it from the too with my nail but I realized you can push up the studs from the side as well. Just wondering when it’s susceptible to being pushed open or just how you open it

Yea could be too. But with this new repair the only way to open the bracelet is from the top. Maybe I got the bad one. When I purchase this bracelet it was the one they have in display so maybe a lot of people tried it on and off.

So it happened today. The first time I wore my clash with my VCA 5 motif (I wear it with my diamond juc sometimes) and the top clasp was open. Guess I should take it into the store?

Hello! I wanted to circle back to see if yours loosened up? I just picked mine up from repair yesterday and the lady even had a hard time opening the clasp. I tried to take it on and off a few times after to test; and it seemed to loosen up after the 5-6th time. Did this happen to you? But when I flicked my fingers over the clasp, it def didn’t open as easy as it did before

Hello! I had the same experience where the clasp is harder to open the 1st time I picked it up from the boutique which I think its a good thing isn't but at the same time it worries me that in a long run it might happen again. My assumption was that the bracelet that was sold to me was the sample one they been letting people try on. So, I just stop taking it off as much as possible so I don't wear off the hinge faster. Anyway the beauty of this design is that you can't really see any scratches if there's any at all. I think its the most carefree bracelet.

I agree! After testing opening and closing it isn’t has hard to open anymore. Yesterday I tried flicking it from the side and it opened a few times compared to the first few times…sigh. How often do you take it on and off? I do agree it is carefree.

Only few times since I had it repaired. I just wear them all everyday regardless of what other people say that it's a bit much especially on my yoga classes. Every holidays some of my friends loves to borrow my jewelries / bags/ shoes and dresses and 2 of them really liking this bracelet and I end up loaning it to them but one friend who borrowed my clash and juc stack she keep on taking on and off my juc the entire time I was on a very important call (about 40 mins) and she only stop when I asked her what was she doing and her reply was she was just practicing how to open the JUC and she's having a hard time opening the clash. Now I think I have the same issue with my JUC not locking properly.

That’s horrible! I wouldn’t lend them anymore but you’re very generous. I think I opened like 80x already and loosening it(normally I wear my clash 24/7 but the Tamarah video I think made me paranoid - I should just leave it). Thanks for sharing your experience though, we’ll see if the bracelet stands the test of time LOL

Omgs yes I saw her video as well. That was the time I finally admit something was wrong with my bracelet. Clash bracelet was the 5th bracelet I purchased from cartier so it took me a while to admit it's faulty and was thinking it was normal.
Fingers crossed here! I will be heading to Cartier soon to have them look at my JUC lock.

Even my SA had a really hard time unlatching my Clash at the store. Now after doing it at home for dozens of time, it has definitely loosened up but won’t flip open by itself. I have long decided not to remove it too much to avoid stretching out the clasp.

I love the Clash bracelet a lot; carefree indeed and less seen (than Love). I’m already at this point where if I only can have ONE bracelet from Cartier, it’s gonna be Clash.

Hope you get your juc fixed! Question - when picking up the bracelet did they give you any service paper work? I only got one when I brought it in…but not for pickup. Mine looks so shiny now…I wondered if they cleaned or polished. It’s been so shiny for days or over a week!

No paper work was given to me but the repair is now integrated with your serial number so if Cartier looks it up they will see from their end that this bracelet has this and that done. They will only do that for repair or if you have your bracelet polished that they take off top layer of gold or screw replacement.
