Just chiming in. All "outlet" bags I have purchased never came with dust bags. I have only received them if they were "boutique" bags sold there.

Yep, agree! Poster was saying only bags under 200 dollars don't come with dust bags. lol! Another false rumor! In the right thread for sure!
No actual evidence to back this theory BUT i think larger bags do, whereas smaller ones don't. My basis for this thought is my own purchases from the Boutique.. smaller x-body- no DB.. larger shoulder bag- DB.
That all said i am sure someone will step in and say their smaller bag came with one lol...

Lol, I'll step in. My medium selma crossbody came with one yet my daughters mini selma did not. So as you said seems xs items do not.
Sorry I wasn't talking about outlet just regular boutique and dept store if they are under $200 don't come with dust bags. I've never purchased from the outlet.
LOL you know as i typed it i thought hmm i think i saw med selma's with them... maybe the xs don't? i dunno my lrg JS crossbody didn't.. i think their is no rhyme or reason to it.
Oh no worries. CinthiaZ and I was just clarifying how not all MK bags over 200 come with dust bags and how some under 200 do. 😊 That's what tpf is all about. Learning, helping and giving each other great advice.
I'm going to go with this one. Hesitant shopper is correct. There really is no rhyme or system. The only thing that is consistent about Michael Kors is that, they are not consistent ! lol!
I often order MK dust bags on ebay or poshmark and was disappointed to find the dust bag was super small and there was no way I could fit any of my bags in them, so I use them for my wallets! lol! I do believe it was made for a small bag. So this is evidence that they do make them for smaller bags. It's pretty much hit and miss and what is available. No rhyme or reason.

I went to the outlet this morning and purchased a grayson. I asked the SA if it came with a dust bag and she said that the outlet bags don't come with dust bags only "full price" retail bags.
Then how come I have outlet bags with dust covers?? My Fucshia Tristan, which is an outlet bag, came with the dust cover. Maybe in her store, but it doesn't apply everywhere. And her statement "only where you pay full retail" ?? Doesn't make any sense because many many many MK bags are MADE for the outlets where they charge full retail for them, so I don't understand why she would say that. You have to be careful about sales reps. They can often be misleading many of us have found. Some of them have worked there less than a year and really don't know everything, ESPECIALLY regarding authentications. I find her statement "only where you pay full retail" to be completely incorrect, since we we DO pay full retail for bags that are MADE for the OUTLETS. Very strange she would say that. She acts as if the outlets are only for discount bags?? Not true at all. SOMETIMES the outlets will have discounted boutique bags, but most of them are MADE for the OUTLETS. She is way off track!
