I absolutely love that bag!! Why would she not make that design available on her own site? I did see something similar on piperlime, but the strap does not look the same (I prefer the way it is on the yellow):

I wonder if she signed a non-compete clause or something with & other stories? I'm surprised she hasn't used magnets in any of her own bags yet. I think it's genius.

But some of my favorites would be the small messenger bags with a magnet in the flap that she collaborated with the new Europe-only H&M luxury brand, & other stories, earlier this year. My friend in London helped me out to get it in both yellow and black.

She's from MN but her husband is French, hence the French last name. Bodie and Fou carries them across the pond.

I love this yellow bag too; I wish it were available in the US. Looks much more practical than many CV bags. I am not carrying my Escale as much as I thought I would as it doesn't hold a laptop :( (I didn't expect it to of course but did not realize how many days each week I carry my laptop!!)

I highly recommend the CV small duffle--it's lined and has one little batch of interior pockets on one side--a zip pocket that has a divided patch pocket on the outside of it where you can put your phone or keys or ID.

With my CV bags, I've started using a LeSportSac pouch that I keep all my little stuff in. I actually am enjoying the lack of a lot of pockets because it's made changing bags a lot faster.

Clare Vivier's been posting teaser photos of her fall bags on Instagram and there's one that has an exterior pocket, so her fall bags might be addressing this problem!
I agree. I got a small duffle in the shopbop sale and really like it. It holds a lot and looks like it will wear well. My only issue is that I really wish they made dustbags. I like to rotate my bags a lot and I like having a nice matching dustbag to store them in when not in use.

I went to her store when I had a layover in LA last month and got dust bags for my clutches. Maybe they do have dust bags but only at the store? I have that problem in general with my handbags though. Many of them at missing dust bags.

It kind of sucks. I have over 12 of her bags and clutches and not one single dustbag. I've purchased from her store, shopbop, revolve etc. and ZERO bags. I guess if I lived in L.A. and went to the boutique I'd get one - but kind of punishes those that can't shop in person - I live on the east coast so I have to purchase online. I'm a great customer - but got screwed with her bags dustbag wise.

The store doesn't usually give you dustbags either - they do use cotton totes as shopping bags which are kind of cool, but they are not soft and could not be used as dustbags. Ihsu...however did you get dustbags from them? i have spent 1000ssss at that boutique and have a zillion clutches now!!

they apparently do have dust bags for the clutches but not the larger bags - her FB page says they are working on it

Here's a pic of my navy messenger. After six months of use, one of the rivets fell apart, so I shipped it back to Clare Vivier, and they're repairing it. Can't wait to get it back! Other than that, it's held up really nice.
Just wanted to follow up: they fixed the rivet for free (I did pay shipping to the store, though), and it's otherwise been really great - the leather is nubuck, but wears really well and scuffs just sort of disappear after a moment. The seams/stitching/glueing has all held up very well, and no denim/leather dye transfer between clothes and bag that I can tell. I'm happy with it.

This just in, foldover clutch in Peach. Love the color, and I think it will work almost like a neutral.:smile1:

I got a small duffle for Christmas, it came with the large canvas bag :D

Super cute! Congrats!

I got Maison Madeleine Petit Satchel today at shopbop and I'm super excited about the green color! :-)

Has anyone had the bag too and how do you like it?

I love the Madeleine and hope to get one someday soon! Post a pic of your lovely green Madeleine once you get it!

I have the Madeleine Petit in the forest green/navy combo from fall and I LOVE it. It's the perfect size for me (I'm 5'2" and the small duffle overwhelms me a bit) and for what I carry. I hope Clare V. keeps making this bag season after season...how do you like your kelly green one?

Woot! The forest green/navy color for the Madeleine Petit must be so pretty! :smile1:

I'm about the same height as you and the Madeleine Petit is the perfect size for me too. It's not too big and it's roomy enough to carry a lot of things. I like the fact that there is a handle drop as well as the adjustable shoulder strap option.

Most of my daily items such as keys, a wallet, a small daily planner, cosmetics in a small case, a phone, and my kindle all fit inside nicely. I have received so many compliments from others for the kelly green one and it is a great highlight for my wardrobe. I hope Clare V. keeps bringing in new colors for the Madeleine Petit; I think I would like to own in all different colors. :D
