Drew looks like she is wearing the necklace whereas Amanda looks like it is wearing her. Drew has a longer neck which gives her more breathing space, whereas Amanda almost looks like it is choking her. But Im sure irl both girls are very pretty. Maybe this photo of Amanda is not a good one so that should be taken into account.

I prefer Drew's, its more natural and not so over done. Amanda's i feel is like saying hello look at my clevage with that necklace, its a bit too old for her.

Chunky people. Or at least tall, plump or otherwise sizeable ones.

If you are around 5'4" or under, unless you are a True Plus Size, meaning you wear at least a size 20, (and it does not count if you take a 20 in like 3 brands of top to get a loose fit and wear size 10-12 in jeans) then stay away from the chunks.

If you absolutely have to "participate in the trend," scale it down. For example, one of the things I have seen in all the stores, from expensive to cheap, are those lucite necklaces with square faceted rectangles measuring up to two inches in length. Leave those alone, and look in the childrens' jewelry section where you will find the same thing, but with a maximum length of around 3/4 inch.

Get that, and try to find one that is glass and not lucite, but because it is a trend, even if your budget is large, and even if you also are, do not go and spend hundreds or thousands on a gemstone version. A couple of years from now it will curl itself up in your jewelry box and stay there, and it may be another ten before it "comes back."
