Christie's Auction for Hermes handbag - licensed shipper?

Sadly, I can't swing a trip to Milan time-wise, so I'm going to have to eat the shipping costs. I just hope I get it reasonably soon because for those prices it should be very speedy shipping!
May I know when did you end up getting your bag? I've won a bag from the auction at the beginning of October and I've heard nothing from the shipper after getting a quote from them, seems like an extremely slow process...

Not the OP but I also recently won 2 bags from the auction that ended earlier this month. After Christie’s shipping partner sent me the quote, I had to e-sign it before they sent me a payment link for the shipping fee. They shipped it yesterday and it has already arrived in the States this morning, so it should be pretty quick to arrive once they ship it out for you. I’d follow up with them if you’re not hearing back.

Where I work we use Ferrari for HV items (fine jewellery mainly )that we need to ship internationally.
I've shipped fine jewellery and a watch to my client in Bermuda with them and they are very efficient (not cheap but very reliable).
I've never known them to be slow so I can only think the delay must come from the auction house being slow in getting the necessary paperwork to them.
I remember Ferrari gave the quote to our internal dispatch department the moment the quote was ok'd by my client and paid Ferrari picked the goods and documentation up within 24-48 hours and they arrived with my client about 48 hours later.

yes that's why this is very strange, me chasing them for more than a week already and they still haven't sent me payment instructions, not to mention the price they charge! i was hoping christie's would help, but it seems like they would only forward emails to ferrari instead of directly calling them locally.
