Something about her facelift left her a permanent joker smile maybe. 😢

This photo was taken before her facelift. Jawline is definitely not as snatched as photos taken back in 2015 (page 1 of this thread.. when people wanted to know what she ate, drank, and if she was under HRT. lol) A more serious look - totally not the Christie Brinkley we know of. Her bubbly personality and smile is definitely her signature!

In her younger days, signature blonde and tanned. And now that I am looking at it, she always had that joker smile!

Then her recents at age 70. Yes, people commented that the skin on her chest does not match her face. And without the PS, the skin on her face would definitely match the chest skin. She posted this in her instagram page.

Jawline is now rounded. But hey, this is aging for y’all. I read that losing the weight after menopause is hard. 😢

Like so many, she's had a full rebuild, and there's very little trace left of the original features and character of the face.

It's up to her, of course, and anyone can do what they like, but in my view she's at the point of no return. The last photo is an improvement on the previous one and she looks nice in it. Any more procedures would potentially be disastrous and I hope any plastic surgeon she approaches (if she does) will be honest with her. There's a limit with what can be done time after time with the same material, so to speak, before it collapses.

We all want to look our best and for those that can afford it, plastic surgery is the go-to option so that's their choice. Just be careful!

There's nothing wrong with just a few tweakments of natural looks, no need to have every procedure in the book. Not every older person looks awful as we are constantly being told they are.

I totally agree. If one is planning to do it, research, research, research. And get the best doctor - board certified, etc. sometimes that is not even enough.

Like cool sculpting in one of the pages on this thread - we know about side effects now (Linda Evangelista).

It does help to have a loving spouse or partner. Sometimes they will tell that person they don’t need any PS at all! These are celebrities - always in front of the camera, under scrutiny, and sometimes very attention seeking who always need some affirmation that they look fantastic. And they want roles for people 20 years younger than themselves.

I’m just here to look at the end results, esp years down the road.

Yes, this is the face that made her famous.

Also she was never a supermodel, no matter what people call her now. She never did, or could do, runway or very high fashion.

She was the prefect sunny, California girl - looking fabulous in a bikini, gorgeous (almost cute) on the cover of magazines and doing hair commercials.

The joker smile is so odd - how did she let that happen?

Christie was a super successful commercial model.
Nobody can take away what she accomplished as a model. And while she did not walk the runway, she left her imprint in the modeling world.
So yes, she was a supermodel in the sense that she has lasting power and earned more than your regular run of the mills model

When we had those original supermodels (and Brinkely was also working during the late '80s and early '90s) they were called that because they did it all. Claudia, Naomi, Linda, Cindy and Christy Turlington were magic on the runway. They also had brand endorsements and covers on the best magazines and were paid a fortune just to show up as Linda said.

Brinkley never did runway, had no walk, never projected a unique image (other than California babe) only had one look and didn't do much for high fashion like the others. She had CoverGirl but CoverGirl's target audience at the time was young and girl next door.

As you said, she was stunning and successful, and her Sports Illustrated covers were the absolute most enviable in my opinion. Who wouldn't want to look like she did. I don't think anyone ever looked as good.

But the term supermodel, at the time they were all working, was reserved for the others.

Latest headline. From her book:

It was 2006 and she was giving a graduation speech at a local high school in the Hamptons, when Brinkley was approached by a man she’d never seen before.

“Excuse me,” he said softly. "I need to tell you that arrogant husband of yours has been having an affair with my teenage daughter.”

I’m glad her kids are her biggest cheerleaders, and she has a good support system.

I just realized she is starting to use a lot of fillers or fat transfers which may explain the rounding of her face like Madonna’s. Unfortunately I see that in my area with 50 yr olds. She should stop while she’s ahead and disappears like Linda Evangelista did from a blotched job.

Did she write about Billy Joel cheating and how she found out? That interests me so much more.

The thought at the time was he was bored and roamed. Just because she was stunning wasn't enough.
