So, I got the MJ Silvana. I looked at the CL again when I was in the store today and the leather was still as wonderful as I remember, but the bag was definitely smaller than I remember. There was no competition when I compared the bags side by side - MJ easily won me over!!!
Maybe if the CL is still around after the next round of markdowns, but for now I'm thrilled with my MJ. Thanks for all your opinions & comments!!

p.s. IRL, the CL looks nothing like the Chanel Cabas - there is a patent leather version that looks a little bigger & resembles the Cabas but they're definitely very different bags
