It's being reported that the police came to the residence with a warrant after a female claimed Chris pointed a gun at her. So far Chris is holding himself inside the house and refusing to come out. He's tossed a bag with a weapon and some unknown drugs out of one of the windows. Chris has also posted a couple of Instagram videos claiming, he didn't do anything and Fk the police!

LAPD begins searching home of singer Chris Brown

Following a bizarre, hours-long standoff, LAPD officers began searching the Tarzana home of singer Chris Brown on Tuesday as they hunted for a weapon the performer is said to have used to threaten a woman.

Shortly before 1 p.m., officers entered Brown’s sprawling home after taking much of the morning to obtain a search warrant. Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, was on the scene as LAPD Robbery-Homicide Division detectives searched the property.

Los Angeles Police Department Deputy Chief Bob Green had described the standoff between Brown and officers as “long and protracted.”

The search was sparked by a call for help from a woman who said she had been threatened by the performer, police sources said, with officers first arriving at Brown’s home in the 5000 block of Corbin Avenue about 3 a.m. Tuesday. said LAPD Officer Liliana Preciado.

The woman said Brown, who has had several previous run-ins with the law, pointed a gun at her during a violent rage before she ran outside to call police, according to the police sources, who were not authorized to speak publicly about the case.

Officers attempted to enter the home and were told to get a search warrant, the police sources said. Detectives then waited for a warrant to search Brown's home for the weapon.

Meanwhile, Brown took to his Instagram account Tuesday morning, sharing videos in which he railed against police and media and said he was being unfairly portrayed as a villain.

In the videos, he said he woke up to helicopters overhead and officers at his gate, and maintained that he was not guilty of the accusations.

“Good luck. When you get the warrant or whatever you need to do, you’re going to walk right up in here and you’re going to see nothing, you idiots,” he said in one video. “I’m tired of ... dealing with y’all.”

Because of the high-profile nature of the case, the investigation is being handled by the Robbery-Homicide Division.

Prior incidents at the residence include a home-invasion robbery and multiple complaints about Brown and his friends riding all-terrain vehicles loudly up and down the street.

Brown spent six years on probation after pleading guilty to attacking his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. His probation was lifted in March 2015.

The Grammy Award-winning singer completed about 1,000 hours of community service. He was also ordered to attend anti-domestic-violence classes.

Brown also faced charges in connection with driving without a license and accusations of a hit-and-run. In May 2014, he admitted to violating his probation after committing an assault outside a Washington hotel.

More recently, in June, Brown’s former manager, Michael Guirguis, known as “Mike G,” filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court alleging he was attacked by the singer.

Brown punched Guirguis four times in the face and neck in an incident on May 10, according to the complaint.

“The assault was unprovoked and, regrettably, just another attack in Brown’s long history of violent and abusive behavior,” the complaint states.

“Clearly, thus far, such extreme consequences, such as the loss of his career, court-mandated rehabilitation, and even jail time, have not deterred Brown’s conduct,” the complaint states. “Perhaps, this time, the imposition of punitive damages for his despicable and unforgivable conduct will.”

CHRIS BROWN
Alleged Victim
HE PULLED GUN AFTER ARGUMENT OVER JEWELRY

12:28 PM PT
-- Law enforcement sources tell us Chris is about to get arrested.

update-graphic-bar-grey-gray-1.jpg

The woman who called the cops on Chris Brown says the singer pulled a gun on her because she was admiring a piece of jewelry ... and afterwards his people demanded she sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Baylee Curran appeared on "TMZ Live" and said she had partied with Chris in the past and he was always nice, but this time he appeared to be out of it ... on drugs or alcohol.

She says she came to his house with a friend, spent a little time in the hot tub, and then walked back inside where a member of Chris' crew was displaying a piece of jewelry. Baylee says when she admired it the guy went nuts, and then Chris followed suit by demanding she "get the f*** out" and pointed a gun at her.

The craziest part ... as she tried to leave she says Chris' people wouldn't let her take her cell phone until she signed a non-disclosure agreement. She refused to sign, and she and her friend left.

TMZ broke the story ... Baylee, Miss California Regional 2016, called 911 and that started the standoff with Chris.

You can see the full interview on "TMZ Live."

Is he a felon? Whether the girls press charges or not if he is a felon he's not allowed to own a gun so he's in trouble no matter what right?
Is that true for every state? States have the rights to their own laws especially gun laws so I'm wondering if this is a state by state thing. Also he had felony assault charges....does the felony type matter?

It's a federal law. A few states have loopholes where after a certain amount of time and petitioning you can own a gun again. I would guess California is not one of those states. It's generally easier for non-violent felons.

CHRIS BROWN
TESTED FOR DRUGS IN JAIL

Chris Brown was tested for drugs after his arrest, and authorities may have found something, because our sources say there were drugs at the house before he allegedly pulled a gun on a guest.

Law enforcement sources say Chris gave up a blood sample Monday night after arriving at the jail.

Brown's accuser, Baylee Curran, was on "TMZ Live" Tuesday and when we asked about drug use she got very nervous and wouldn't answer.

As we reported, during the standoff Chris threw a duffel bag out the window and cops found 2 guns and drugs. His arrest was for felony assault with a deadly weapon ... not drugs.

I can't be bothered looking for the story but apparently the chick sent a text that she was going to set him up. She appears to be a scumbag and the cops were looking for her for stealing.

It seems he will never learn to stop letting random people into his home.

Maybe it's me but you'd think if you had a Lamborghini you'd keep track of who you let drive it.

OLD LAMBO TOTALED IN BEV HILLS

Chris Brown's Lamborghini Aventador is chilling on a scrap heap after a mysterious crash completely destroyed the exotic sports car ... TMZ has learned.

The whip -- which retails for $400k-$500k -- wrecked in Bev Hills early Tuesday morning, but police have no idea who was behind the wheel because it was abandoned when they arrived on scene.

We're told the Lambo is still registered to Chris, and even though he lets friends drive it ... he had no knowledge it was being driven the night of the crash. Although it has a matte black wrap now -- you can still see the car's original orange paint underneath.

Police say because it was a single car wreck, and nothing else was damaged ... it's a low priority investigation. We're guessing Chris doesn't feel the same way.
