Ladies, thanks so much for your advice!

Thanks to you, I had a craving for chocolates. And I finished an entire box of orangettes!!!!

If you find Paris too far to travel to for chocolate inspiration, you can try Tokyo where there are some franchises of Parisian chocolatiers. There is a Pierre Hermé somewhere in Aoyama, the boutique is really pretty. And there's a cafe upstairs. Also La Maison du Chocolat at Omotesando at the Hanae Mori building.

Anyway, i'm looking forward to checking out your chocolate venture when I go to HK next. Do let me know when you open a shop!

Nice thread, my all-time favorite snack.....I thought it was about chocolate leather.....Oh I was just stuffing my face with an unfamiliar (to me)brand of chocolates given by my DH's Japanese client, nice, smooth,De Chocolat Neuville, 5 rue des Clercs - 57000 Metz, my normal favorites are Godiva, but since we don't have an outlet here, I have to wait until I travel to get them. Locally here in KL we have Patchi, nice but nowhere in terms of taste in the big league. Is Jacques Torres really famous, my buddy in NY's kid is his kid's regular playmate. I must have a sample.......
