Hello mousseline fans! Several years ago I consigned this, but no one wanted it. So, back it came to me. It sat in its box, I was sure I didn't want it anymore. But, I recently pulled out this blazer, and, hmmm, what to wear with it? Now I love this mousseline again!

One of my first mousses - I love this pattern and this CW in particular

Hello!:wave:I am well my friend and you? Always so happy to see your lovely posts:flowers:

All fine here, too!

I knew I had seen this stole in a blue changeant, of course it is from a tPFer, who has a fabulous collection!:flowers:View attachment 5842730

So gorgeous!! :faint:  !!! Thanks so much for sharing this @Julide. I've just submitted a special request to the mousseline gods asking that they smile down upon me and toss this into my path at some point !

Hi, mousseline lovers! I wonder if any of y'all can help me. I found this lovely moussie stole-- I am pretty sure it is Grand Prix Polo de Bagatelle, though TRR described it only as "pattern prints." Does anyone have or can identify the cw? I know there were a few others issued-- a purple and a pink one. Possibly others? Any information/mod shots/ photos gratefully appreciated!

You’re right about ID of course, and congratulations on finding such an unusual colourway , I love green and think it’s very wearable.
I have the orchid pink which is also gorgeous ,and which I treasure but seldom wear. It’s definitely not changeante .

Thank you all @Julide, @Karenska, @frou frou and @papertiger for the comments and help. I finally was able to play and take some photos. Not sure I am doing it justice-- it is a quiet and lovely "plain jane" and then it just shimmers into something magical-- it reminds me of dragonfly wings or the way light can reflect on green pond water...

Thank you for all the help and advice and your beautiful photos-- I have gone back and pored over this thread and I am definitely in more trouble than I thought when it comes to mousselines!!!

A lovely neutral! Beautiful on you!

Moussie lovers: I need one of you aficionados to save me from myself so I'm enabling here :graucho:

This is not a design I've seen before so some due dilligence is in order. I suspect maybe it's from the RTW side, or one of those 'how did I miss this?' mysteries.

The care tag looks legit, as well as the copyright. Based upon the care tag format, it was issued 2013 or earlier. It could be one of the variation of Sangles - perhaps someone has one in their stash?

That's what I thought too, some variant of Sangles. I hope it goes to a happy home, it's really pretty....

I thought perhaps Sangles too; really pretty though, I hope it finds a good home!
