That's sooo weird and disappointing....I'm so used to them make the scarves look "meh..." that when they actually looked like they tried....it was all wrong....I love the Alphapois pattern...just not the size....I know I'll probably get tired of it....could always change my mind though. Do post when your comes in Bova!

Here is a fantasy pinning of medal (Orange Heart not Purple) on Toile d’Hermes for valor during 10-day trip. Photo archive but roughly how worn.
1st Orange Heart event: Spilled red wine down neck during heart-to-heart conversation with daughter. You don’t just run out on those to rinse your $$$ scarf. Days later blotted 3 quarter-size spots through/out 99%. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS.
2d Orange Heart event: To avoid welcoming-jumping-dog claws, wound Toile into tight ball to stuff in fleece-jacket pocket. Forgot would catch about 1/2-inch-square area on velcro pocket closure. “wound” not yet found.

On NOEZ! So glad this treasure made it through unscathed! But YIKES on the wine!

I don't think I ever added my Fleurs de Lotus in here.....(plus I have a new arrival....oopsie me....I'm about to get another ticket to Ban Island here directly....)
Here is Fleurs de Lotus- in a rare 100cm size. This has the same loft factor as the Toile H stoles but in a square format. It is not a lay flat kind of moussie. This is so old, the poor little tag is only hanging by one thread right now. I love the springy colors...need to dig around in my wardrobe for things that go better. Pictures of my other confession forthcoming...

I recently found an older mousseline for a pretty good deal....not too many watchers and not described very well (hence the lack of watching...) and since it was a good deal, I couldn't NOT bid...(BAD HABIT!)
So I won...and paid... and figured I'd have a few days grace to figure myself out....
The next day MrBcat says : "You have a package coming by DHL???"
Me: "Ummmm.....how did you get that notification??? I paid in my PP so how did it get YOUR number???!!!!" ( Inside voice: )
Me: Ummm....yes....there was this scarf....and it was a good deal so I couldn't NOT bid on it, you see???
Him: I noticed you didn't just fess up and say..."oh yeah...there's a package coming...."
Me:
(Inside voice.... BUSTED! What was that about a tangled web??? )
So here it is, an oldie but a goodie.... Fleurs et Carlines GM by Vlad Rybalchenko. This is a mousseline tank...I swear it....I'm convinced these oldies are nearly indestructible. Not a scratch on it after all these years..... A couple of small spots and it does need a bath because it is musty from storage....but otherwise....nice and thick! And it is bright. But, since I'm already digging through my closet to find shirts that go and bought a summer dress for it, I guess that's a good sign!

Great story.....and great scarf too with gorgeous colours. I think we are all guilty of trying to explain our addiction to our other halves.
