I must admit that the cost for the mousseline is high. When you spend over $1K (including sales tax) in the US, one would be inclined to spend on the CSGM instead as we get more use in colder climates.

Fellow scarf lovers, today my lovely SA warned me that H... is thinking about/has decided to...cease/seriously reduce patterned mousselines!Excuse the vagueness of the report but my brain seized up in horror at the first words and now I can't be certain whether she said they have done this dirty deed, or will do it soon.
Can tpfers in other countries please ask their SAs for intel/gossip/information on this matter?
As a consolation, after seeing the look of abject misery on my face, my SA did say that H was thinking about/or has decided to, bring back patterned 70's?
I know this could be a case of 'win some, lose some' but I am still reeling in shock(and covertly eyeing up that Della Cavalleria moussie that I didn't buy at the start of the season...
).
(Sorry for interrupting but I struggled to find an appropriate thread and thought I should just post it to those who care about scarves the most!)
Given that my SA is not prone to rumour, I am appalled at this possible decision from H. I would appreciate if scarf lovers could investigate and report back either denying or confirming these bits of info.
For now, I am drowning my sorrows in a good bottle of white wine...
Totally agree! Not unexpected but very disappointing. Mousselines are the perfect format for spring/summer...so light and airy.
They have been very hard to find the past couple of years and definitely produced in fewer numbers.
I am forturnate to have a nice collection but sad that I won’t be able to add to it![]()
I don't think they're fully discontinuing it, much like the 70cms. They're just discontinuing the designed ones, is my guess. Press pics for SS19 shows what looks to me losange mousselines in polka dots.

My info is the designed 1,40 are discontinued. The stoles are continued as well as the 1,40 plain coloured.Shocking but true!!
Just yesterday I popped into my H store and enquired about mousselines. Discontinued!! Not producing them anymore!! I don’t think I’ve ever felt so shocked and disappointed in Hermès before. I ❤️ my moussies! They have a revolving door existence in my collection; some come in, some go out, some just get admired...but there’s usually always enough in circulation to hunt for each something new each season. Not any longer apparently!
Just like my fellow moussie collectors, I am quite devastated by this decision
