Finally playing catch-up after finishing a big work project... :sweatdrop:

Ok- I've been trying to find some time to post this one after all the craziness of the scarfmania the past week. This came in just before we went out of town and just after I gave up finding another shawl I'd been hunting.

I had a mousseline plisse for a while, and while I liked the texture of it, I haven't really been able to make the plisse format work for me, so I let it go. But then I saw this shawl in a crinkle crepe mousseline and thought that if it worked out, then it might be amazing to have a similar texture to plisse, but bigger format and that would be a very cool thing and very nearly as special as La Rosee in its own right.

So I am very pleased that I was right! And without further ado let me present my NTM Toile Hermes in Rouge H (to go with my Bolide, of course!) which I think was designed by Sophie de Seynes.

The crinkle crepe is very light, does not slip around like regular mousseline and is very "fluffy". So if this is what un ironed mousseline does, well, it's not so bad! (This is one mousse I would never even hope to wash because I'd never be able to be sure the fabric would wrinkle back the way it is supposed to be.)

FABULOUS find, Bunnycat! I love the H Toile moussies in all variants— smooth, crinkled, fringed... but your white/red plisse combo is especially gorgeous. The colorway really suits both the pattern and texture. Congratulations!

NTM Aux Portes du Palais changeant... There have been better pics posted already but just could not resist to share my joy with you:

The colour changes from light lilac to pink to a light icy blue. It is an incredible scarf:

Would have loved to take pics outside but it is, unfortunately, too stormy here presently...

A superb pair! Love love love how strong the changeants are in that particular pattern. You are so lucky to have TWO!

Wearing a mousseline with a warmer shawl waiting for it to warm up! I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend!:flowers:

You look terrific, Julide! Hoping warm weather reaches you soon... but if not, I won’t mind more shots of pairings like this.

Happy to have finally found the Della Cavalleria Moussie and it does not disappoint! I picked up cw #2, vert/parme/bleu and cw#4 - absinthe/vert/jaune vif. I am not sure if I will keep both but the store only had one of each so I grabbed them both as I did not want to have regrets down the line.

(Please excuse dd's less than neat room...best light for pix thou!)

Oh no, Hopiko, I should know by now that whatever you model, I will want. No exception here. I’m especially taken with the green one. This pattern looks great in mousseline form and you have tied it beautifully. Too tempting!

I posted these in 2018 SS thread. Savana dance mousseline stole cw01 and 02. Cannot decide which one to choose so I just took both. :P

@mimi 123 and @scarf1 , beautiful Savanas. Can’t get enough of how that Art Deco checkerboard along the edges looks in chiffon. Congrats on your gorgeous stoles!

Thanks, Sammy! Love your layering look too!!!!
Thank you so much, hopiko!! :flowers:
Dear Sammy Royal, your combinations look gorgeous! The Tapis Persan design is so beautiful but the two shawls you wear it with are equally stunning. I love these Indian cashmere shawls with their intricate needlework embroidery. Hermès shawls are a work of art but these Indian shawls can certainly hold their own against them!
Dear Thelittlefoxes, you speak right to my heart... Thank you so much!!
Nice work Sammy Royal, these look great, and cozy too! I especially love the tonal colors.
Thank you, dear textilegirl!!
Totally stunning
Thank you so much!! :hugs:

I don't know how I missed this hopiko! Stunning choices for you! Congrats!!! This scarf has turned me in to a Della Cavalleria fan!

Beautiful mimi! I hate it when I can't choose, because I do exactly the same thing!

Well, I really tried the Julide-style - and found it very cozy and a wonderful way to wear moussies during the cold seaon. Thank you again so much for this great idea, Julide!

Today’s scarf is brought to you from my childhood. The Lone Ranger and Tonto, Hopalong Cassidy, and backyard games of Cowboys and Indians. Wishes for horses and loyal dogs, for Shane to come back and that Ole Yeller didn’t have to die.

Beautiful lanit! Congrats! So stunning on you! I was so bummed when I tried this one on last month because I have become a big DC fan and it didn't suit me for some reason (I ended up with a darker moussie that I have yet to receive from Mr Bcat....hopefully soon....)
