For someone who said that the Mousseline format wasn't for them I seem to be gathering momentum in adding to my collection.
I think I do better with the more tonal plainer designs, and a friend has recently enabled me by showing how fabulous a strong blue mousseline looks . I longed to find a similar blue and she stepped in again to pass this one to me. Thank you arch enabler C !:flowers:
Brides de Gala en Finesse 140cm in cobalt blue with black hem.
This is the blue of ts butterfly's wing , I remember some brooches I loved looking at when I was a child were just this colour. Amazing that it suits me because a top or dress in peacock blue would definitely not…

The wonder of Mousselines!

The pattern in black is super-intricate and delicate, but so much so it's hardly there .
It's the blue counterpart to the red Onde de Chic ;)b de g blue mousse 3.jpgb de g blue mousse shawl .jpg

What a beautiful shade of blue. It's a beautiful pop of color. The mousselines are simply wonderful aren't they? I have to talk myself out of buying too many because the season for wearing them is so short here.

I've fallen hard for these wispy beauties, 90 and 14ies alike, haven't had the courage to buy pochettes yet, fearing the will disappear under longish hair. Our warm season is also rather short but if you go for the darker CWs they look lovely through the winter as well :-)

Thank you Sammy Royal and PocketbookPup ,your kind comments mean a lot .
P'B'Pup , give your mousselines a go in the colder months , I'm a mousseline novice but I found they look good with a simple sweater under a wool coat . My preference then is to roll it into a long strip [ not a bias fold ] so it isn't wispy and floaty .

Never posted this mousse in this thread because it is so hard to capture the beauty of a changeant mousse. Polo de Bagatelle! (Thank you again @frou frou for helping me with the name! :flowers:). It is so much more beautiful IRL:

It is due to dear @lanit that I am in love with L'Art d'Ecrire as a mousse... Since I saw her wonderful pic in TPF years back, I searched for the right one in pristine condition (if possible...). I got soo lucky and received it today! :yahoo:Will actually only get it next month for my birthday, so, I just took a quick selfie (sorry, I can't do this properly...). The yellow is light green IRL... I am completely and totally in love and over the moon!! And can't wait to get one year older... ;)

Hi all,

I just bought the Zebra Pegasus moussie and only when I got home and took another look noticed that on one part there are very small holes at the edge of the scarf (see pic below)

I haven't seen that with my other moussies but since I only have a few, thought best to ask here whether this is quite common with moussies or would you suggest asking my SA to find another one for exchange? I'm not sure whether with use the hole would get even larger?

Thanks very much

I'm no expert but the holes from the stitches don't look good at all , the largest one seems to be giving birth to a run .
It's not the first time I've seen this , a friend spotted similar problem with a mousseline in store a couple of weeks ago. It was withdrawn from sale immediately .
I suggest sending it back ASAP .
Maybe these new superfine gauge mousselines are more prone to torque from the stitches?

The one Lanit chose is my favourite too , the colours are ravishing!
I played with it at H a couple of weeks back , I haven't yet succumbed to a mousseline in store, maybe this one will be the straw that broke the proverbial!

I agree, it doesn't look right to me either. :( Ugh, I hope this isn't an overall quality issue - maybe just a couple getting through QC?
