Thanks Mimi 123 - very kind.
And I know what you mean... some of the older mousse designs do seem more intricate, perhaps more textural than some of the newer designs. Carre Kantha is a great example of this. The stitch pattern is designed so that it appears to be part of the actual silk fabric - truly exquisite. Here's a sample of the magnificent detailing...

Exactly exactly! You see more with the older ones. With the newer ones, you can barely tell which design it is after folding. The material is very different too. Here is my carre kantha.

Yes! Indeed. Look at those stitches! Fabulous in anthracite! Thanks Mimi 123!

Buxus, many thanks for taking the time to show all your treasures!

You are very welcome Croisette! The joy you and others have given me with your consistently beautiful contributions over the years is priceless - thank YOU! It was quite a lengthy task to shoot and I've only managed half of my silk shawls. Going through them was quite cathartic though and has helped me realize that I perhaps have too many. As my husband says, sometimes you need to part with the old to make way for the new. There have been some recent shawls I've wanted but felt too overwhelmed by what I already have, to consider purchasing new ones. Do you ever feel like that? Perhaps all collectors feel this way at some point.

Love visiting this tread (no moussies yet) and want to thank you all who contribute here. Hoping that H will release a neutral for summer with a lot of white...

Love your pics Buxus and your horn pendants [emoji7]

I agree absolutely, buxus. I would never part with my lovelies.
