I have a Hermes confession to make that I can make here. I adore mousseline scarves so this is the only thread on TPF I can think of that I have gone through start to finish more than one time. :D (And would willingly put on repeat until further notice!)

I was cleaning some scarves the other day and so took a few pics of my little moussie family to add in here for reference. A couple have been seen here in different size or colorway, but the more the merrier!

The mousse PM's (because 140 would just be toooo much scarf on me)

Smiles in Third Millenary, Mediterranee (with pretty blue contrast hem!), Aloha, and Vinci (all the filigree design on it is metallic bronze so it has a stiff hand but I love the colors) plus a couple of mod shots for size reference. I do wish they would make this size again.

Thank you Sammy!

I definitely hope to keep adding on to this. This is no where near the end of my mousse lovin'! One day I'll line up the moussies and the twillies and let them duke it out for first place in the love department!

I just love the way you wear these small mousselines, they very much become you!
You have a great eye for what suits you .In all honesty I'd never have thought the sage green Vinci would look so good .Its seriously fab on you!
My only mousseline gavroche seems to disappear into a little stringy thing compared to that pretty Pierres I'll have to re-examine my technique!

And another thing, it's a joy seeing some of the older patterns again .

Thank you so much PbP and froufrou! :hugs: it's getting to where I enjoy these over the regular silk twill sometimes.

Many thanks for sharing your collection, bunnycat! :smile1: I love how you wear them, and you have me reconsidering the smaller sizes! I have your Vinci's big sister, as a 140 in pale blue. Your smaller Vinci is so lovely as tied! So interesting to hear regarding the metallic dye.
