Scarves Chiffon (mousseline) scarves

I'm really eager to add a chiffon mousseline to my collection but sadly I haven't been able to find one that wows me in person. So far I've tried Under the Waves in 09 at the store which hopiko and SugarMama have and the following two, Under the Waves in 06 and Millifleurs du Mexique in 02. Only sharing mod shots as I'm returning these two which I ordered from H.com.

Perhaps I'll just stick with the 90cm silk and CSGM.

They are both pretty, but I see what you mean. Have you tried Croisette's CW? UTW 8, I think? That might give you better contrast against your clothes.

These 2 do not say wow to me either hun... you didn't like cw9 of UTW??? I think it's too early in the season to call it quits on the Mousse!!!! You'll find one!!! No doubt!

I loved 09 and was set on getting that after seeing all the cws online. When I saw hopiko and SugarMama's pics, I waffled and then when I finally saw it in person my heart just sank. I tried it on nonetheless and it only added to my disappointment. It just didn't look good on my skintone. I've also tried Jardin Anglais last year but perhaps not the right cw (white and light blue) and that didn't wow either. The store didn't have any other cws.

Even though these moussies didn't make your heart sing, there's still a ton to be released .... Keep trying and thanks for sharing! I was eyeing UTW cw6. So nice to see it modeled. Looking forward to seeing this in cw1!

Although it didn't work for me I wanted to share as often times the mod shots on here have helped me a lot in deciding what works and what doesn't. Hope you find 01 soon!

I actually really love the colors on 09. So wearable and flattering for many skin tones too. If I could get a second UTW mousse it would be this one but I think I'll probably do 04 (total surprise) or 09 depending on how it looks on me IRL. Would you mind sharing why you preferred 09 to this 06 one?

I preferred 09 and love the colors. Green usually works for my skintone (esp green with warm undertones) but somehow both the UTW 09 and Millifleurs 02 just didn't work, much to my disappointment.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I might give 08 a try though it usually doesn't work with my skintone.

I'm sorry weN84 - I think these look nice on you, but of course you have to love them. I especially love that Millefleurs... But yes, as others have said, there should be a whole lot more still coming out - it's early in the season for the moussies still. I bet you'll find one you love!

Agreed that you might want to give UTW8 a try. After seeing Croisette's beautiful photo I had to go to the store today and it was a tough decision between UTW8 and UTW11 for me. cw11 is such a happy moussie and cw08 is really refreshing. I came home with 08 today and I'm trying to be a good girl not to go back to pick up the 11 later. But who knows? It's just the beginning of the season.....

Congrats, and it would wonderful to see 08 modeled! Our store only has the pale pink and aqua color way, and though pretty I'd love to try on some brighter color ways in this design. How lucky you got to try on a couple!

I know! Both Croisette and lanit have such an amazing color sense- that is one reason I suggested CW 08. Sometimes it's the ones you least expect that turn out the best!

I was nearby the store yesterday, so popped in for a visit and they had 08 on display. Tried it on and neither the SA or myself thought it looked good on me. I'm gonna sit out this season and cheer you ladies on!

Lanit, CeceNorth posted a mod shot of 08 here. The stores tend to order a small amount of the mousselines, so it's difficult to try and try them all. EU H.com seems to have all the cws so I ordered what I thought would work to try. Btw, I'm envious of your collection of mousselines!

Pocketpup, Your mousse is beautiful and so is the one you're looking at. Do indulge, as it will be perfect for summer. I will echo others in saying that mousselines are not fragile or delicate or prima donnas. In fact, I find them the hardiest of all H silks and treat them like hardy raw tussar silk. Not even being caught in a car door and *dragging the wet highway for 20 miles* damaged one of my mine, not even one little bit. True story.

They are hardy but hard to fold up perfectly
