I'd say return. $1k is too much for this crappy quality. Just remember to always inspect scarves before you leave the boutique next time, EVEN if it's brand new in plastic bag. Mousselines from the past few years are much thinner and the fabric weaves are prone to be defective (e.g., small slubs).
You can have your SA (if you're close enough with her) to do a global search for it, or just wait a few months, more shipments of mousselines will come since it's a current collection's offerings. Because it's defective, it probably won't be sold and just sits at your boutique, so you'll have time to think it over.

My experience with moussies is that even current collection prints may not be restocked. The guepards cw that I am hunting for sold out midway through the season it launched in and I have not been able to find it since. You might try s store like Ohio or manhasset and if not maybe your sa could do that global search as suggested. Otherwise I would say return it and keep only if the snag does not bother you in the slightest (which it sounds like it does :(

Hmmm. Hard to say. I think if I paid full price for a scarf at the boutique, I'd want it to be perfect. I don't mind snags and runs if I'm buying pre-loved because ideally, I would get a price break due to the imperfection. However, if purchased new, I would expect perfection and return for store credit if I don't get it. I would only keep if this is your ultimate HG and you would kick yourself for not keeping.

Thanks everyone. I've decided it's not a HG for me and I like it around a B+. So it's going back even if I never find another one in the same cw again, my SA says there are none showing in the 28 stores in the U.S. not sure about a global search though? He did not offer to do that for me.

MYH, so sorry to hear and see you dilemma;(. Unless this is a HG for you...I would return it. It is a fairly long snag. I know it would bother me unless it was a very hard to come bay HG.

Look what else my FedEx guy delivered today (also got a 70). Casques et plumets moussie!!! Love it! I was originally trying to get the black white orange mousse, but apparently the last one available was damaged. So I opted for this color. And boy do I love it!!

Here are some pics of me playing around when I tried it on today with what I had on. I tried to adjust color to be a better representation. But the original pic of it in the box is most accurate. Colors are canard/vert fluo/emeraude. The border seems like a perfect match with Blue Izmir CDC. :). All greens... Totally up your alley dear. :). Unfortunately, SA said only 2 left in the U.S. One sent to me and the other was actually in her boutique but she had it on display last year and wasn't confident the condition was "perfect".
