All of these mousseline scarves are gorgeous! I'm new to this style and find the Hemes scarf website a bit overwhelming. I can locate only ombre mousselines, but I am interested in a patterned one, particularly Dans Un Jardin Anglais. Are they hidden on the website or do I need to visit the boutique?

Sadly (or not), the champagne/corail cw of the Jardin Anglais didn't work as it was too orange-y for me. Also tried the fuchsia (too intense) and the yellow (too washed out pale). Surprisingly the blue cw seems to agree (blue never usually does). Perhaps its the ample purple in it that's appealing to (read deceiving) me. Mulling...
The purple indeed makes it nice! Gorgeous modeling picture! :p

You're most welcome. Should I create a Dans un Jardin Anglais additiction support thread? I haven't been paralyzed at selecting colorways for any mousseline like this since Jardins d'Armenie and Ors Bleus d'Afrique. I can't buy 3 colorways of the same design. Or maybe I can?
Yes you can! :graucho:
This is the first time I buy 3 colorways of the same design in current season! I normally get 2 if I really really love it.

Even if you visit the boutiques, they won't have all colorways. If you're lucky, they'll have 2 or 3 of the same design.

When you visit h.com, just filter by Materials then select Silk Mousseline. Each country's h.com website has their own inventory and when things are sold out, you'll need to wait until they are back in stock.
Actually right now us.h.com is sold out of Jardins Anglais. You can wait a few weeks, they will be back in stock. Or you can call up any boutique with the colorway code number in my list above or in the photo file name, the boutique will sell via phone and FedEx 2-Day to you.

Thanks so much for the information! Following your instructions, I was able to filter by material and find a small selection of mousseline shawls and stoles on the website. They are all gorgeous! I'll stop by my local boutique soon to see what they may have on hand. :)

That would be wonderful, Chestnutty! If you start the thread, I will definitely join it!

I have this scarf and I love it (although I do wear blue). It is possibly my most complimented scarf. It looks wonderful on you. I do think this colorway is very versatile and can flatter a range of people.

Love the cw on you, how you tied the shawl, and mix prints!

ms piggy, the blue one is lovely on you, congrats!

I have this CW and this blue is perfect for me. I was surprised too. I'm quite fair and thought it would be to dark. I think its quite lovely on you. I also think the blue is such a neutral in its own way that its very versatile and easy to wear with a lot of things. Jardin Anglais is a gorgeous mousseline. Hope you find a CW that you like! :smile1:

Thank you ladies for your comments. I'm not a blue person (as the colour somehow dulls me and makes me look cold) hence I was surprised it works. I reckon it's the purple in it and also this being a mousseline, the blue effect is softer. It being a changeant may play a part as well. Plus I was in blue denim that day but that is also rare. It is a gorgeous cw, much more than i imagined. I can be extremely impulsive esp if the item looks flattering with that day's outfit, hence I force myself to step back and evaluate. I do already have the JA mousse in the rose the cw which I absolutely adore. I don't have any blue mousse but the fact remains, do I need to have one (it's a rhetorical question lol )?

As always, Chestnutty, thank you for taking the time to compile the list, it's much appreciated. I have seen 05 champagne/jaune, it's very pale and washed out looking even when folded in the plastic. Almost like a faded effect which the SA and I found rather strange.

I was finally able to take some pictures! It's completely overcast here today, but I opened the blinds wide and I think the pictures give a true representation of the colors. Urashima Taro in cw 02 champagne/jaune/caramel...

Thanks so much for sharing K. How can you not like something that has the word champagne in the cw? I'm going to check this cw out next time I'm at the boutique.
