I am beating myself up for not getting the Phoenix mousseline when it was available. Cannot find it anywhere now... Your mousse is so gorgeous!

Count me in on that thought too Mimi. There was only 1 in our store and the color way was simply ghastly on me or at least what I was wearing that day. I wish I had looked harder for other store inventory.:graucho:

Wanted to share a special piece with my fellow chiffonophiles!

This is a Bali Barrett design called "H En Fil" from SS2010. It's a GM mousseline that was hand-beaded in India, an effect H called "H Étoilé."

Mine is a rose and plummy-mocha colorway, but there was at least one other colorway made and depicted in that season's scarf booklet. :smile1:

You have such a lovely style and taste C. This is a very special and versatile piece. Kudos on a lovely find,

This is soooo exquisite, Calexandre! The color, the tying versatility, the beads - wow, it's like an all-around win! Congrats!

Do not mention it! I even had my SA looked it up after the season and she found one... I was into the new season stuff and did not take it... Alright, let's hope H will reissue it again SOON! :supacool:

Klynneann, Katekluet, Greengoddess8, Esmeh, Lanit, Hopiko, and Chestnutty: :hugs::hugs::hugs: Thank you all so much. Finding something unexpected is so much more joyful when there are fellow mousseline lovers to share with!

I love this photo, you look so fabulous, Sammy Royal!

Something new....Faune Lettree! Simple pattern but I love this floaty confection....the changeant is really something on this one..maybe because the pattern is so subtle:)

Oh oh, this is wonderful, hopiko, gorgeous pinks!

You ladies are killing me, you're no exception, calexandre, what a special mousse! :hbeat:

sbelle, your pics of the beautiful Dans un Jardin Anglais in that ethereal blue cw made me ask to see the moussies at my boutique today. They pulled out several different scarves, including your blue Jardin Anglais - it was so lovely, but just did not look as good on me as this one did - Dans un Jardin Anglais in cw 2 rose the/terracota/poudre! :hbeat:

Just saw this exact cw in the boutique today and I adore it! Fab fab fabulous...They are holding it for me...

Hi KL! The older moussies were a little more substantial and hold color well! I have a turquoise lalbhai from the year of India (2009ish) that really pops!

Hopiko this is truly a Grail combo for me!!! I've seen it before but I can't recall where...please post a photo (or three or five)?

I've been getting so many compliments on it and wear it often - just love it!

So...now I don't know what to do! It's so funny, I just replied to you in the Ode to Tapis Persane thread that I bought that silk GM in turquoise AND the CSGM Aux Portes du Palais with the black border AND I also want this Mousseline......SOOOO, which two do I keep? They are holding this rose thè mousseline at the boutique for me....help!!! And I am asking you because clearly we have the same taste!

Lol - and I just replied to you in the Ode to Tapis Persans thread! The mousseline is definitely my favorite. I will admit that I'm having a hard time wearing my silk 140s (I have 3). I think I just need more help with knotting options, but right now they're not getting worn. I tried on a CSGM for the first time this weekend, though it didn't come home with me. I could see myself getting a lot of use out of it and I've been thinking about it all week so far. And the aPdP is lovely. Oh, but that Tapis Persans is soooo beautiful... Still I think I would go with the mousseline and the CSGM... Could you do some overtime at work and get all three lol?

Ha ha, I wish! No, I'm a stay at home mom - although really, (try not to throw up) I'm a "momager" (my son acts/models/sings & plays guitar)...it's very time consuming, and it doesn't pay much except in hugs and appreciation! That's why I frequently sell what I'm not using, it's "recycling" from my closet, although DH does contribute sometimes I don't like to ask unless it's a significant purchase.

Yeah, I did it - exchanged the Tapis for the Jardin mousse...my favorite SA was there, and she said I would tire of the Tapis in a month or two. Plus the Jardin is more multiseasonal for me and goes with more.

Exceptional, indeed! This is a real treasure, Calexandre, and this cw was made for you!

I'm sad and happy for you at the same time. :smile1: I think you'll love the mousseline! I'm wearing mine today - all black and just the mousseline for color. It's not changeant, but it shimmers somehow. Congrats - wear it in the best of health!
