An evening at the theatre with Brides de Gala en Finesse.
Ms Piggy - such a beautiful outfit! You look exquisite for a night out. :woohoo:

In the up side down way that Hermes works, my Boutique just got their mousselines. They don't order that many because this a place that is rather stodgy and gets cold and they don't sell that many moussies. But now in Sept they get them. Just before winter. Go figure. Brought home three because...well because they actually had them and some beauties to choose from. I adore this one. Really am smitten: the colors, the pattern and the magic of the mousseline.
Without further ado:

TT - I was so close to getting this one too. I understand how you were smitten once you put it on. The only thing that stopped me was my scarf ban. Uggghh... It really looks lovely on you.

Moussie fellows,
If you own mousseline stoles, some of you may find that it's somewhat less versatile than a shawl because of the length. The other day, an idea came across my mind when I was reading the Twilly thread and it solved the mentioned issue perfectly!
You'll need to learn the Chain Knot as instructed in the below video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJ2Nlrm8AAY
Now put your stole on, start knotting as instructed above at the point on the stole where the distance from that point to the border equals to the length of your shirt/top.
I think about 5-6 knots will do.

Now your stole is shortened and you can just go ahead and drape it on leisurely, without having to tie the stole around your neck ( very useful on hot summer days)

If you braid like that all the way throughout the stole, here's what you'll end up with:

Happy knotting!

FAB! I have two of these in the new CdI and I actually find them really easy to wear. Love what you have done here though.

This is creative! I always think stole is boring... Thanks for sharing this, gonna try it tomorrow!
Your mousse stole is gorgeous! I wish H print more bright color mousse!

Anfang, Textilegirl, TT, mimi 123 - Glad you enjoyed the eye candies :hugs:.
This bright yellow Jardins d'Armenie was a surprise pick for me as well. I didn't want to buy it for nearly 4 months, thinking it's so ghastly with all the bright yellow and such, but the contrast details and the green waves at the borders finally won my heart. The colorway is lively and happy IRL, definitely can light up any day.

Well, I can see this, Chestnutty, you litterally glow! :sunshine:
