I love my mousselines and have concluded that when it comes to a high contrast of color scarf, a mousseline for me is best. It is not as stark as in a silk twill. I have been loving my Carpe Diem that I bought in mint/like new condition last year. New to me, but an 18 year old beauty! Thanks for letting me share.
Oh, Sparklelisab, this mousseline is sublimely beautiful and your analyis/realization qualifies as a flash of enlightenment. Insights such as this are so valuable--thank you for articulating it and sharing. I saw a black & white Pelage et Camouflage (animal prints) stole this weekend in Dallas, and it looked so much prettier on me than the twill Pelages, or either of my b/w twills...just softer on me.
