Boogee, I would say the colours are more on the cool side. Hence it would go better with colours like Etoupe, GT, White, Black. Nonetheless, if the attire is very simple like white/black, and only the bag is Gold, it would work too.

Am waiting to see the red before making my final decision. But cw01 is likely to win. ;)

Thank you ms piggy for the info. I really love this design and I like both the black and the purple one. I am still trying to decide between the two. ;)
Hopefully we will see the red one soon too!! Actually...red might work better with gold (my bag is fauve colour). On the other hand, I think this purple one will go nicely with my prune bag!!! Oh...soooo difficult to decide....:p

boogee:I took a few photos of my mousse with my alezan kelly to give you a sense of what it might look like with gold:

The sable on the mousseline (which is the colour on the animal) would pick up the fauve on your bag. It would be subtle. I think the black cw has stronger gold in it. Haven't seen the red but fauve/gold and red is a classic combo.

So, I say pick the one that makes your heart pump faster!

Thank you ms piggy!! Yes...I think red/fauve is also a classic combo. It is a very difficult decision to make. :D

Gorgeous photos, ladies. Thanks for sharing. I'm a mousse fan too and had been wanting to add to my GM collection for a while but agreed with other comments here that the hand of the fabric in some 09 models wasn't up to par. I'm happy to report that all of the mousselines I've fondled since the SS10 release have a soft and lovely feel IMO.

I had been wanting something to bridge the navys and browns in my wardrobe and this New Springs does it (and more) beautifully. It is a changeant and the sheerest of any of my mousselines. I think it's a subtle work of art when folded and gathered. It's colorway 06 sable/azur and there is even a little pop of Rouge H if you look closely.

When I first saw photos of Pauillac's Brides Rebelles in corail/vert d'eau/jaune pale I almost fainted, quickly recovered and grabbed the phone to alert my SA of my newest 'need'. When the shipment arrived she called to say she thought I would be happy with the fabric quality and she was right although the the gorgeous pastel colorway really wasn't for me nor was the bleu/vert/rose model that looks so great on greycat. When my SA pulled the 3rd colorway out I immediately shook my head since yellow is nowhere in my wardrobe but she wrapped it around me anyway and both of our expressions changed. There are so many shades here...olive, taupe, browns, greys and black...I couldn't believe it worked on me and it adds such a sophisticated touch to my white, taupe and black basics. It's colorway 03 jaune acide/bronze/gris.

I've been working a lot and am late to the game in showing these since they are from SS10 but I wanted to post their loveliness just the same. Thanks for letting me share. :heart:P
