I have a Birkin 35 in CDC Noir that is at least 15 years old and looks immaculate. It is sturdy and not heavy. Also sparkles in the light. Although a bigger tote, it is my favorite bag in my collection!

i like to think I take reasonable care, but I am not obsessive.
I think this photo was just after it returned from standard spa;
the edge resin was reconditioned as part of the process.
It is not very clear in the photo but you can just discern a spine line straight down the middle.
I can make it out on yours. This is a distinctive feature of chèvre.
