The Dillards sales rep told me and I've since heard the same from others that their biggest sales day of the year is New Years Day. The clerk told me last year people were grabbing ten bags. This year they're going to limit how many you can have in your hand at one time.

Apparently it is a mad rush to Coach and MK as soon as they open their doors.

Your lucky if no one goes to 50% off sales at your dillards. The same 2 asian women are at every additional off sale. They are allowed to buy every single thing they grab! As many as 30/40+ bags at a time. They even bring their own black lawn garbage bags to drag their LOOT from the store. The rest of us only get wallets, keychains etc.. I think they camp out overnight. I love bags but it is NOT that serious. We have ALL complained, but they said it's fair. Shoppers give them death stares LOL!!. All of those bags are probably being resold on Ebay for double the cost they paid. When I see them I usually just head to the shoe dept. Oh well.

Yes the same thing happens at my Dillards. It is insane. I have complained about it for years. Someone even posted in the Coach forum that at her Dillards an Asian gentlemen was allowed to put like 20 bags aside by an SA at closing for a sale the following morning. I think they should allow no more than 3-5 bags per person. Face it, if someone is buying more than that, with a few exceptions, they are probably resellers. I mean I can find 5 bags I want, but they are usually not at the same store and just happen to be the ones on clearance. Glad to hear they are finally putting restrictions on this. Will still be a zoo and the resellers will probably recruit more people to shop with them

I have made good friends with the SA at my local Dillards. Her daughter and I both work in the same field. She will "hide" things for me... She is so funny... every time she sees me she winks and says "see anything you like..." or "don't buy that yet, it goes on clearance tomorrow"

I always buy from her so perhaps they can do something similar for you!

Went to saks off fifth yesterday and some of the clearance bags were BOGO FREE. They had a lot of marc jacobs, minkoff etc..the entire store was additional 40% off or more, this was the outlet near dayton, oh. Only thing I bought was a fur infinity scarf, it was 140 an I paid 40 with my hubbies veteran discount. All the mk bags were additional 40% off too but nothing really caught my eye. Mom found a beautiful calf hair clutch in sapphire blue though and a leopard/leather clutch which I plan to confiscate today. LOL.

Bloomingdales does have 25% off for cyber monday right now ..... but not on the leather trim color that I liked....awesome tip though ...can check later for something else!!

Will keep an eye on Dillards!!

I need to purchase the Berkley Clutch from Lord & Taylor...anyone know of a coupon code that might work for it? Or know if there's an upcoming Friends & Family sale? The ones advertised on L&T's website don't work for the bag.

Macy's has lots of colors in the Berkley clutch - use promo code FRIEND for 25% off plus free shipping. You may want to avoid Lord & Taylor after reading some of the threads on here about their horrible customer service - many of us have had bad experiences with our orders from there.

Thanks for your reply! I want to get it from L&T specifically because they're the only place I've seen that has the red (not claret) berkley available. I didn't know that ppl have had issues w/L&T, though. If anyone sees the red Berkley available elsewhere, please let me know!
