Has anyone check out at there Macys if they have the rasberry color yet?


I just went today and they didn't have that color yet. The associate looked it up online and it stated the color was available to order so when we tried to order it , it wouldn't go through. I ended up just buying a Hamilton in a different color that I will bring back and exchange for the raspberry when it finally comes in
 
Random question...has anyone ever done an online return for Lord & Taylor? I sent a bag back, and 2 weeks later, they still haven't processed it for return. I wasn't sure if this is the norm with them.

They take forever and I had to constantly email them


+1. They are absolutely the slowest with online returns of any retailer I've ever dealt with. My refund took 4+ weeks, and that was after constant calling and emailing! I will only order something from them anymore if I am positive it's a keeper!

@jojon21 and @paula3boys -- thanks for the feedback. This is going to end up being a frustrating process I see. Was there something specific you had to say during this time to get them to finally process it? Were they just dragging their feet and you had to get them to manually process it?

I tracked the return package, and all it says is processed by return agent. The CS rep says it takes like 3 weeks to get the return completed, but even then he couldn't/wouldn't tell me where the package was in processing currently. Lesson learned. No more L&T.

I took to social media to leave a not so nice comment on their facebook page. Someone from their CS replied to it and gave me an email to write to her at, which expedited the refund. I think her name was Teri. I didn't save the email address but you could always leave a comment on FB or twitter and I'm sure it will be replied to quickly!

Me too. They gave me another 25% off if I kept the bag and another 20% off my next order.

I should do that, too. But do you know if you exchange it will you have to pay the full price? Thank you!!

I filed with my bank because I wasn't paying interest on a charge they should've credited immediately after they received it.

They have better sales at times for me but I'll make sure I know for sure before ordering again. The Hamilton I returned was with flap thing and I hadn't seen IRL yet. I got another bag after that hassle and love it. Fantastic deal as it was 25% and 25% off plus no sales tax plus cash back from e bates site
