I think the savings pass can be purchased online and used on August 29. Is that correct?
I found this info at Macy's website:

So you can buy the pass at stores starting today up to Aug. 29, use it on the 29th or presale before then.
Online, you can add the $5 pass to your online shopping cart on Aug. 29 only to get discount, no presale possible.
Great way to get the collins stud since it is exclusive to Michael Kors........
An excellent way in general to buy multiple bags! I have to say, department stores typically offer much better deals, this is essentially saving tax or close to, though there aren't many options for purchasing MK outside of their stores and maybe Holt Renfrew
I think it is a fabulous deal since it can be used on sale merchandise! It would be nicer if it was a flat percentage off, but if you reach the minimum for a tier, then essentially you are getting up to 15%, 25%, 30% off.
I had a lovely sales assistant work with me to get to $500.60 and get the $125 off.
I can consider the deal as getting 25% off all my items, or more creatively apply the discount to one item and say that I basically walked out of there with a medium selma for $24.I do agree it is a small discount for full price merch that dept stores also carry.
That's totally my thought process! I recently bought a watch (online) and realized I have one really similar to it already, so I'll be going to return it. With $200 coming back my way (which I'll view as a sunk cost), I can justify purchasing an extra bag, plus I'll be getting $125 (I'll probably only spend $550, don't think I can make it to $750). It's a great deal, unfortunately im my country we don't have such deals for MK and bags have much higher prices than in USA.

I'm in Canada, so pricing isn't too far off however they have lots of sales at department stores which carry MK in the US. I'll probably do a trip down in the coming weeks to see if I can find anything.

If you're in or near Poughkeepsie, NY, our Macy's is honoring the 30% off with the Shop for a Cause "ticket" that costs $5. Even for Designer Handbags like MK.
The SAs there told me that they had told everyone verbally it would be 30%, and when the fine print said Designer Handbags were an exclusion....their management allowed them to override it to 30% off instead.
And whatever button they are pushing to accomplish the 30% off, is also giving 15% more off. So the aggregate percent savings is 40.5%. It is insane!
I just used this lovely deal today to pre-sale a Small Cynthia in Blossom python-embossed leather with rose gold hardware...last one they had!
The actual Shop for a Cause thing is on Saturday 8/29, so can pick up then, or next week at one's convenience.
