Thanks! I did try the code as well. So I will hope for the best sunday. I called my local Macy's this one was not doing the presale.

This is a related topic, but when you all buy your bags like MK or Coach at Macy's, do you get a box or do they just take a display bag and throw it into a plastic Macy's bag for you? I asked at one of my Macy's and the SA basically told me she would give me the display model, unless I asked and they got one from the back (assuming they had extra stock).

It just seems annoying to purchase display bags because typically they're the ONLY ones in that color out on the floor and people paw through them. It's the one advantage, I guess, of buying at the boutiques instead of department stores?

Your question is a bit confusing. If you are asking about a box, no they normally do not give boxes at department stores. I'm sure if it's a gift they would provide their store box. For bags I have purchased, they put them in the dust covers then into a bag. As for display bags, I assume this would be a choice if it was say the "last" one available on our part. I find great service at both my macy's and my local boutique.

I always request a bag from the back, preferably one still wrapped (they don't come in boxes). I won't buy a display model unless it's something I absolutely have to have and can't find anywhere else (and it's in perfect condition).

The SA's here know me so well that they automatically check the stock room without me asking. They know I don't want a display model!

Helpful hint: Today I went to Macy's to presale for a bag. The bag was 25% off, but would be $37 dollars cheaper if I used my Macy's card. I did not want too. So my SA put the super discounted amount on a gift card, and I was able to use it like a Macy's card. I'm not actually sure how it worked, but I got a $248 bag for $157!!

That's a great buy! Here, I can only get presale pickup on Sunday. I've got to try to see if Macy's card will give me extra savings! Will also try to avoid display model.

Lord and taylor is having the f&f sale 25% off almost everything and an additional $20 off any order $150 or more.

Also i have a question, i heard that macy's do price matches so i called the macy's number just to double check and they said that they only do price matches in stores and not over the phone. Im sad now because the handbag i want is available only online and only in select macy's stores :(

Does the 25% private sale apply all day at Macy's or just at certain times today?
